Have only visited once, honestly, for the speed of book in an appointment, it should be on the top of the list in town. However if taking into consideration of whether I am enjoying the process of the service as a pet owner, and how reasonable the charges are. Sorry. I really can’t persuade myself to give it a good rate. I don’t appreciate the fact my cat had to take 3 times X-ray to confirm the bone of his leg was not hurt where there could only be one. I may be slow in express my feeling but I’m not stupid. There are definitely better options in town.

Very disappointed by my experiences with this vet. Would not recommend. Stay away.My first emergency visit, he was more interested in selling a dog to another couple from his breeding services than he was attending to my dog’s injury. Claiming that only acupuncture could help, but when the needles were falling out, he said that I could put them back in myself.My second emergency visit, he showed little interest in thoroughly diagnosing the problem, but said we would just shotgun it and hope for the best, as he was thing to button things up before his vacation. I had to convince him to try harder and he eventually tried to sell me homeopathic garbage, claiming that’s the only thing that would cure my dog’s problem.I don’t know how this person has a license to practice veterinary medicine. We have moved our dog’s file to another vet and couldn’t be happier about it.

I took my 2 cats here on a weekend when their regular vet was closed, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful and we got an appointment the same day, and she even called a few days later to see how my cats were doing. However, the vet made me extremely uncomfortable as he was too rough handling my cats (ex. dragged them out of the carrier the second it was opened, held them down when they weren’t doing anything etc). The exam room door was also left open which made me nervous as my cats could have just ran out of the room if my sister and I weren’t holding them. He also talked to us like we were stupid. My regular vet is always gentle with my animals and have never made me uncomfortable handling them.

We have trusted Dr. Smith and the staff at Main Street Vet with our pet's health care needs for many years. Dr. Smith is a very knowledgeable and skilled Vet. We are always treated with utmost care, respect, and professionalism.Again today, we needed help for our dog. We started the day worried and stressed. We called this morning and were scheduled immediately. As usual, Dr. Smith took his time, thoroughly examined our dog and clearly explained what's happening, and what our treatment options are.Thanks again, for your caring and professional approach!

Dr Smith is the most knowledgeable vet I have ever visited. Our big guardian breed loves him. He is straight forward and cares about all the animals he treats. A truly good person.

Dr. Smith is an amazing vet. He is knowledgeable and caring. Our German Shorthaired Pointer was in pain for months and many tests could not determine his issue. When we brought our dog to see Dr. Smith, he knew right away, by spending time to observe the dog's gait and assessing his symptoms, that he had a pinched nerve in his neck. After several acupuncture sessions and holistic Arnica 30c medication, our dog was brand new again and acting like a 6 month old puppy again - instead of being a 2 year old dog in agony. No more anti-inflammatories! Dr. Smith advised that our dog had lost interest in food because he was unable to put his head down. He has since gained back 3 lbs and is eating normally again. Wow!! Thank you Dr. Smith for giving us back our boy, and in such a short time! Staff are super friendly and helpful at the clinic as well and go out of their way to assist.Further, we also have a GSP von Seiger Boss puppy from Dr. Smith. We can affirm that Dr. Smith is a caring and responsible breeder who ensures that the von Seiger Boss puppies go to a responsible home where the owners will train the pup, keep it healthy with proper supplements, and provide a positive and stable environment for the pup to grow up in.

Took my dog in was charged a large sum was sent home with antibiotics and was told he would be fine within 24 hours he died on the couch beside me,went and told them Monday morning and very loudly asked for answers and the vet rudely won't or didn't call where I feel he should have he got his money so what does he care
