Tristen is absolutely wonderful! She was the first photographer I ever worked with and she set such a high bar for every other photographer. She is thoughtful, hardworking and an all around great person. She was a little late to one of our session but she communicated properly and apologized profusely. She is a true gem and I’m very happy to have gotten to know her. I recently recommended her to my friends who got engaged and their photos are gorgeous.

My partner and I hired Tristen to take our wedding photos. We had a very small, intimate wedding. My family and I are not use to taking pictures and we were all really shy and had no idea what to do or how to pose. Tristen had us all laughing and feeling so comfortable. Tristen was incredible. My fiancé and I had the best experience, never having our photos taken professionally before. The experience was low stress and most importantly fun! We had our engagement photos done by Tristen at Wander West Photography and we are so happy with how they turned out! We had our shoot in Stanley park and third beach. Although Tristen was late due to crazy traffic coming into the city and Stanley Park (first hot day of the year) Tristen was very professional and made my fiance and I feel very comfortable. It was our first time getting professional photos taken together and Tristen made it very enjoyable. We also received our photos the next week (super fast turnaround) I highly recommend!
