I contracted Muskokastonescape to do some excavation and landscaping as well as install some granite steps.I was more than happy with the work and it was completed on time and as quoted. Thanks Collin Dunnett

Collin Dunnett and Muskoka Stonescape came to our place last year at 560 Bayshore Blvd in Huntsville to do a retaining wall , and stairs leading to the cottage. The retaining wall collapsed this spring. Collin promised to come over to fix it but he never did. Now he dont respond to my voice or txt messages. Is that the kind of customer service you provide? Is that the kind of company you want to work with?I will keep this post updated if anything changes

Colin is a horrible landscaper

I'd like to actually leave a review about the work but that would be hard since Colin never showed up for our initial consultation. No phone call, nothing. I drove all the way from Toronto just to meet Colin at my cottage so I wasted the day. If this is how they work, I'd be careful.

Update for Summer 2019. Many of the stones on the retaining walls moved or fell off. I contact Colin Dunnett the company owner and left many messages before he sent 2 guys with crowbars. They spend 15 min and left doing absolutely nothing. The whole wall structure needed to be fixed. Colin never returned my calls afterward. Needless to say, Muskoka Stonescape workmanship is very poor but beyond the poor workmanship, the owner - Colin Dunnet is a cunning and dishonest. THINK TWICE BEFORE ENGAGING ANY WORK WITH THIS OUTFIT OR ITS OWNER.

We met with owner Collin Dunnett to install 8 sonotubes on our cottage property. (I understood this was not the regular job for them but something he had done for another client of his and we were referred to Collin.) He came to our cottage, a lovely guy, and agreed to putting in the sonotubes for us. We set a date of September 28th. We had some misgivings about rain, but that turned out not to be an issue. Collin was the issue. He disappeared. No return to my phone calls, no responses to texts, and claimed to not have received emails. If he had decided he no longer wanted to do the job, he owed us the courtesy of informing us of that! Now we have had to postpone further construction because of this. How someone like this stays in business with that kind of complete lack of professionalism and common courtesy is beyond me.
