The Black Iron Club & Grill at Tobiano
We have been to the Black Iron for a couple of thier special menu's over the past couple of years, and have always enjoyed the food and service. We made the jaunt there tonight, and had the Seafood Sandwich special, and the Elk Burger. Food was really good, and the server very friendly and attentive. Definately will be going back for both the food and the view

Awesome food. Great service. Very flexible service. They put us outside on our request but then we felt cold and they made sure we were comfortable inside.It has awesome views. Really great experience and great place to be.Put it on your bucket list if you haven't tried itPictures of the views from dinner table

Staff and food were wonderful (as was the course) but sadly, there were a dozen loud & obnoxious golfers dining next to us that dimmed the experience. Their server was very professional, during the time these 'guests' openly used rude and sexist comments.

Came for a birthday dinner. I had the Ragu. It wasn’t great. Pappardelle was over cooked. Did not come with fish as menu stated. Also did not seem to add additional sea food in its place (3 clams, 3 muscles, 3 shrimp). Cheese was not. It was either turning bad or was goat milk based. Not pleasant with seafood. Servers were great though. My meal just didn’t hit the mark for over $30.

Great service! Amazing view! The restaurant went above and beyond to reserve a good table at their patio for us and had multiple heaters dedicated to our table to keep us warm. The food was just phenomenal! I appreciate that they were able to make me a chicken schnitzel instead of pork. We would go here every-time we are in Kamloops!

Ordered a fish n chip and a sandwiches and soup. The maple butter squash soup was good but the rests were below par! The fish n chip were greasy, fish was plained and the fish meat was not held together! Never see the fish meat like this before. Chips were soaked with oil, just like heated by microwave! Very unappetizing! The sandwiches with too much mustard, can't stand way too spicy! Don't think we will go again. By the way, the staff are nice and friendly. That's why I give 2 stars.

The Black Iron Club & Grill at Tobiano
First time here and it was New Years Eve. It was a buffet which started at 5pm but they did not tell us that when we booked for 8pm. We were also told it was prime rib but we received cold grey roast beef. The entire buffet looked like a tornado went through it and not appealing. It was a set price for each person, we spoke with the server and they took one buffet price off but we still had to pay for one and we ended up eating 4 pieces of sushi for 100.00. The sushi was not worth it at all. They had a band which was behind a wall and we could not hear them. This was such a disappointment and ruined our new years. We will never be back again.
