I followed Amber from Halifax to Truro (I live in the Fall River area)Even though the shop only has 4 chairs, the atmosphere and staff make up its big personality. The crew there is always super friendly, and I can always count on good conversation and some solid laughs.Price is considerably cheaper than 90% of the shops within HRM, so I truly don't mind the extra gas for an top notch hair cut.

I went in the other day asking for a fade and a trim on the top, keep in mind I had very long curly hair on the top and I loved the look, just wanted it a little bit cleaned up. Didn’t know Tim was going to get rid of all my curls that took months to grow maybe even years, I’ve never had hair this short in years and I do not recommend going to Tim

Before I found The Tweed Suit I had zero preference of where and when I would get my haircut. My cuts were infrequent and done by whoever was available; friends and amateurs included. James and the rest of the crew here have inspired me to take pride in my hair and to commit to the craft. There's really nothing better than a master-level hair cut and hot face towel followed by a straight razor shave. As long as I'm living in Nova Scotia, I will go here exclusively.

Great place for a haircut. Tim did a great job and is a good guy to chat with.I love the old school feeling here.It's also a great spot to pick up all your wetshaving needs with a solid selection of products (some Canadian brands as well!).
