Best place ever. My dog a little Chihuahua Pete-Pete is so attached to me, that it's really hard for me to leave him alone or with other people. After we started going to whiskers, he gets so excited every time we pull up. It's been helping him socialize a bit more and then it just gives him something different to do when mom is at work. He gets walked and lots of cuddles. He always comes home so happy

The staff here are always so thoughtful about the best way to service my animal. Focus is more on animal comfort and well-being than a one-size-fits-all process. Thank you, WUR!!! :)

I was able to get in without waiting too long and my dog (with a special cut) was treated well upon arrival. He looked great considering first visit with his haircut and seemed fine upon pick up. The price was reasonable and I rebooked.

My friendly and loving dog, Cookie loves to go here. At her first visit, she looked nervous in a new environment where she had never been to. When I picked her up, she was very happy, relaxed, and tired. From her second visit, she was very excited to come here and dragged me to the store. I guess she is having so much fun inside !

I take my little Pomeranian here at least once a week when I can't have him at work with me. He has TERRIBLE separation anxiety, and daycare has always been a struggle. After trying both Whiskers and Nirvana a few times however, I can say that my little guy has warmed up exceptionally to Whiskers, and even seems to look forward to going! The folks here are amazingly kind and understanding, and they always give me a little update of how my pup did during the day which has helped us all gauge what has worked well for him and what hasn't. They even caught photos of him playing with some new friends, which really soothed my nerves about the experience (sometimes daycare makes me nervous too). He also loves his pack walks so much, my neighbours have seen him out and about and compliment the walkers manners and capable management of the dogs on their adventures. :)I'm so grateful for everyone at Whiskers for helping my poor pandemic puppy get some confidence being away from my side. I think my only wish is that one day the downtown location could have an outdoor space for all the dogs to play in, but I know commercial space like that can be hard to come by. The ample walks definitely makes up for it anyways. My pup always comes home exhausted and happy!

My little Stella loves it here! Their Pet Valet in the morning is great, given the limited parking downtown. Lots of puppies and dogs of all shapes and sizes and age come here and we have never had any problems bringing our puppy here - started coming at 12 weeks to test it out and now we get ultra tail wags when we bring her by and pick her up. The staff are attentive and give you updates on how your puppy was during the day - our first time, they told us Stella was a little shy and nervous and every time since we have walked in the middle of a puppy play fest. 10/10 would recommend!

Whiskers has become a second home for our pup! He is extremely active so he spends a day or two there a week and always gets the best treatment and comes home happy and played out. He even had a ten day stay there once and had the time of his life. I cannot recommend Whiskers enough. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They do lots of little things to show how much they care about the dogs, like personalized Christmas cards and birthday gifts. I could go on and on... They have been a life saver for my partner and I as new puppy parents!!

Our dog LOVES it here. We left him for the first time since moving to the city, and we ended up having to extend his stay so he was there for well over a week. They were so incredibly sweet to him, gave him lots of cuddles, and when we picked him up he was so calm and happy. I feel so confident that they treated him with so much love and he had a blast. Every time you see a dog being dropped off they are SO excited to go inside. We asked a ton of people what their recommendations were in the city, and this place is highly recommended. We will absolutely be sending him back.

Our rescue dog absolutely loves it here- they took the time to get him used to coming here, and by the 4th visit he was so excited to see the people and dogs here! This is big for him as new people are scary for him normally. He's even comfortable boarding here as well. They love the dogs here and treat them with such kindness and respect. I highly recommend!

I came to whiskers with such high hopes based off of the reviews I had seen from other pet owners. Instead, I left horrified and vowing never set foot in there again. I brought my nine month old Corgi puppy for an initial meeting at the Douglas street location. As soon as I walked in I was hit with a terrible smell of dog urine and dirt, surprisingly similar to the smell I have encountered in puppy mills with my work with the SPCA. I was then greeted by a male Gen Z worker who was apparently left all alone to both attend to the dogs that were at the daycare and my initial consultation. After dragging my puppy by his leash into the back area after he resisted following the worker, I could hear him chastising my puppy for hiding in the corner. He then proceeded to let multiple dogs who my puppy doesn’t know into the back area with my puppy which then caused him to cower in the corner terrified. After about seven minutes of this the worker grabbed Harvey’s leash and brought him back out to me informing me that my dog was “too aggressive” to be welcome there. My dog has never been aggressive to another dog in his life but due to the circumstances had become aggressive out of fear. The worker also then proceeded to tell me that “if I got my dog neutered it would fix all of his ‘behavioural problems’”. I have never had such an unprofessional experience at a doggy daycare and will chalk it up to a child who should never have been left in charge of dogs on their own.
