I contracted Kerry to install the railing on the front porch of my house in Toronto a few years ago. The job was done on time at a reasonable cost and the final result looked fantastic. It was evident to me that Kerry is a craftsman that takes his work very seriously. I was especially impressed by all the detailed finishing touches he put on the railing, including colour matching caulk over potentially sharp areas where two pieces of metal railing fit together. I had 3 small children at the time so the unprompted extra effort he made with respect to safety was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend Kerry for any carpentry related work, especially railings, columns, custom decks etc. A+++

We contacted Kerry to quote us on a complex situation. We needed a 60ft x 14ft deck above the walkout for our home. Kerry came out and immediately identified some complications we might incur. He suggested the best course of action, provided a full quote, and encouraged us to seek a 2nd or 3rd opinion if we so wished. From the beginning of our project, Kerry was fully invested in helping us fulfill the requirements for our fence. His suggestions were thought out and aligned with what we wanted to accomplish. You get the whole ideal contractor package with Kerry; and he's super clean on the job! He even rinsed our fence off to leave it looking new when he was all done. Kerry (owner) provided top notch service in planning our project to replace our existing 10X20 cedar 2nd floor deck with a completely maintenance-free composite deck, aluminum railing and PVC privacy fence. Ian & his assistant completed the installation on time and kept us informed throughout the process. The finished deck, railing and privacy fencing look great! This was our 2nd project with Mjolnir, who completed a new deck installation at our sons' townhome last year. Straight forward invoicing process. Highly recommended.

Kerry and his crew did an excellent job building our backyard deck. Excellent quality at a reasonable price and he was much more professional and responsive than other contractors I had contacted. He does a great job helping design around your requirements and was able to help us figure out the perfect layout for our two-tier deck. They were also very conscientious about cleaning up after the job which I really appreciated. Very happy with the deck and would highly recommend Kerry and Mjolnir Construction.
