It's well known that this business resells mass produced baked goods (her Costco cinnamon buns are the most infamous!) From the other reviews it looks like the quality of the food speaks for itself.

The pretzels are good but rarely fresh. I also had the strawberry shortcake which was very dry :(

In spite of the reputation that preceded her, as locals we decided to give the owner a chance (twice)...unfortunately our experience has been nothing but disappointing! How can you hope to stay in business with such a bad attitude and poor quality products (re-selling industrialized baked goods?)!!!

Was so hoping to support what came into this space. The staff were quite nice on both my visits, but the food is quite expensive and not good. Tried a cinnamon pretzel (really tough), an apple turnover (was really lacking flavour), and key lime pie (way too sweet). If you want a good treat in Lunenburg, I recommend you go to No. 9 or Sweet Treasures.

I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews on here! We had nothing but a fantastic experience. The BEST apple turnover I’ve ever had, wonderful coffee and very friendly service! Will definitely be back and will recommend to my friends!!

Not the greatest place to stop if you made the trip to Lunenburg. Nothing special that you can't find in any other town . Low customer service. It is a new location so maybe they will improve with time but as a local I've been hearing more bad then good about this place to eat.

Not only is the cake lady rude and obnoxious to her employees she also keeps the tips that customers put in the system for the employees so if ur a tipper please do not leave a tip in her system cause the employees will not get them!! She overworks her employees and is abusive towards them…do not support this business!!

Very underwhelming. I was excited to hear she was opening in town, but the food was disappointing. Chocolate cake was dry and carrot cake was so-so and lacked flavour. Owner is also rather nasty to her fellow business owners in old town. In a small community like this, everyone should be supportive of each other’s businesses and the cake lady really is not.There are better and friendlier businesses to spend you money at in Lunenburg.

She buys Costco cinnamon buns in bulk and passes them as her own. Baked goods are left out for days and sold stale, sometimes with flies buzzing on them. She’s very abusive to staff and commits wage theft. Many better bakeries to support !

All of the pastries are dry (left out on the counter all day with no cover or refrigeration) and expensive! The coffees are not priced correctly on their menu, and the owner refuses to properly train her staff how to actually make the drinks properly. Also it is so unsanitary... flies everywhere! One health inspection away from being shut down if the better business bureau doesn't shut them down before for how RUDE the owner is to her immigrant staff and customers. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.
