My boyfriend and I came here last weekend for nachos. We have been in search of a place that makes nachos properly. It seems these days anywhere you go for nachos, all the toppings are on the top layer, and once the top layer is gone, its bare bones! What happened to layering the nachos with cheese and toppings! And also what happened to add meat for an extra cost" and then maybe getting 6 little crumbles of beef or 5 little pieces of chicken.... So anyways

It’s a really good place to have a drink, they staff is just super friendly and kind, I get there to get a drink from my country and they made me feel comfortable, really nice place.

Great food!!! Was a bit of a shocker tbh. Older building but still comfortable, not too dingy, crowd was chill, older and just reminds of pubs in other countries that aren't super rowdy and people are just there to meet up have a drink and chat. Mind you this was on a Tuesday night.

It's nice to know that others have had a good experience in this place.. we did not. Right off the hop, it smelled like old fryer oil.. another reviewer mentioned this and the owner response was this, Our kitchen does not have a grill or fryer and everything is cooked in the oven. We do not use oil". Not sure what could be causing it but it was gross.It was karaoke night

OMG! I just loved this place! The beer was good, the food was good and the Karaoke night had like the best singers ever! I had so much fun! Really nice place !

Amazing pub! Hands down best pub in New west. This is the place to be if you want to have a good time and you’re in the area. It’s a small tavern in down town new west with a homely vibe. We have been coming here for years and I haven’t made a review but we have had many great nights that it’s about time. Siobhan is an amazing waitress, very bubbly and gets you what you need and always checks up on you. One of the nights we were at Begbies, she left because her shift was over and Liz took over for her. The transition was fluid, there was no confusion as to who was taking care of us and Liz was just as helpful as Siobhan. Could not recommend a better place to be and the. Owner Paul has an amazing team and is an amazing guy.

Love the service. Went there on Canada Day, the place was a little busy but food and drinks were coming out fast. Waiter was super nice and also another man that I assume was the manager.Order chicken tenders and mozzarella cherry tomato flatbread. Food and drinks were good, a little pricey tho.Overall is a great place to go have some drinks, maybe some appetizers and watch sports. The patio area is beautiful.
