My wife had an accident and for more that 20 days we are waiting for 2019 X3 headlight. I was told it is back ordered from Germany as parts are not available at Canada, however we have not received it yet and there is no ETA for it and my insurance will not cover rental anymore. I sent an email to BMW Canada to request to expedite deliver or provide me a car in the meantime but no response yet.If I knew I will have issue with parts supply, I would never choose BMW.Don’t recommend it.

My experience is indirect but relevant, I feel, never the less. I purchased privately a 2009 X3 with 173k+ on the dash. The guy I bought it from had a 55 point inspection carried out at the Dealership in Saskatoon. It didn't have a safety cert, which I needed as I was taking it out of Province. But it did have the inspection. Every item had a green tick. So as BMW are a respected brand in Europe, I respected the inspection. I brought the car into Manitoba and had a safety done at a local garage. The first inclination there was something wrong was the night before I tried the em brake and nothing happened. So I took it in anyway, figuring they would be able to adjust the mechanism. That was the first issue, no material on the em brake pads. The second shock was when the guy came in with part of the rear spring. Yes both rear springs broken. The guy I bought it from had only done 20km in it because I have the inspect docs and checked it by deducting my journey home. I'm pretty sure that those 2 items didn't fail in 20k. People don't waste your money on sloppy maintenance. I'll do my own no stars but won't let you post with no stars Bah

dealer maintenance person did not tighten engine oil cap and caused oil spill all over my car and burnt wires TWICE - when complained to bmw, all customer service person can say is and I quote: BMW Canada is not in a position to further review your concerns because our retailers are independently owned and operated". so once the car is sold

Based on my experience twice with BMW dealers, i strongly recommend that people do their own calculation at the rates they are offerred against the price of the car (lease or finance) and you will find a reasonable" difference between the payment qouted and what it should be. And this is fine as long as there is proper disclosure. It becomes misrepresentation when the sales staff assures you that there are no hidden charges. It comes down to both misrepresentation and the consumers ignorance. Just do some math so you can negotiate better."

Had issues with purchasing a per-owned vehicle at a dealership in Quebec City. Agreed on a deal and upon finalizing paperwork issues regarding the condition of the vehicle were raised and the salespeople used dishonest tactics to try and force an unfair deal.Upon reaching out to head office to discuss the above further, no one was willing to listen or pass the issue on so it could be appropriately addressed.I invite BMW to reach out for more details and to discuss further, as I was hoping to do through my inquiry to their office.

If there was a lower score to add, I would select it.Terrible customer service. Added a single 630.00 dollar charge to my account 35 months into my agreement and will not provide a valid reason.Stay away from this financial institute. I am still fighting to resolve

This is a terrible company with all the issues that are plaguing their cars. If you like frequent visits to the stealership and terrible customer service then you should buy a BMW. I had nothing but trouble with their cars which appear to be well made on the exterior, but some engine parts are made with some cheap parts and will not last long.BMW cars are incredibly difficult to fix and they ensure that you head for the stealership for the slightest issue. Even their car battery is unique! Do not expect reliability! If you want to have peace of mind, then go for a Lexus and another reliable brand instead. I will never buy a BMW. I do not think I can give 0 stars but even 1 star is not deserved!

I would have given 0 stars if I could. They charged my account after I paid off my remaining balance and refused to refund the NSF fee. The customer service experience was extremely awful.

One star only because you can't give negative stars. BMW Canada is brutal to deal with. Tried calling in to ask them to get involved and help my dealer order a motorcycle and all they did was give me the run around. I was told they couldn't help me and I would have to go back to my dealer. Well my dealer is trying to get the motorcycle ordered, they are not the problem. Its the BMW district manager who is stopping the process. Finally after 3 attempts, I was told to make a normal" complaint then call back the next day to make an "executive" complaint. Then they took my name and number and they will have someone call back. Still waiting.......People stick to the best motorcycle brand in the world YES Harley-Davidson...Enduro's also coming to HD in 2020. No excuses for you. Ordered my bike from the dealer

I had a new BMW X6 which had a feature of soft closing. The passenger door accidentally closed on my finger and even worse, the soft closing feature closed harder on my finger. Key was inside the car so there was no way for me to unlock the door until my son found the key and did it for me. My finger was cut and lost 70% of the sensitivities. It’s been 2 months but my finger is still numb. Doc said the nerve was disrupted. I can’t imagine bmw’s design is that bad. It’s a company car. If I have to use my own money to buy one I will definitely not go for a bmw.Also avoid working for bmw group head office. Work hours is more than 12 hours a day and boss keeps calling no matter what time it is. Sometimes if you’re lucky you could end your work day at 9pm but most of the time be prepare to work till 1am. Work begins at 8:30am no matter what. This kind of slave culture puts a lot of pressure to the families of the employees
