Great rustic experience. First horse experience for us and we loved it.

28 people from our company spent 3 nights at Flying U Ranch at the end of September for our annual retreat. From the booking to the time we left, we felt like we were in great hands. Having the food provided was a big logistic relief and they were able to accommodate different dietary restrictions. Our group had a lot of fun horseback riding, kayaking and canoeing, singing the the karaoke, chatting around the fire pit, and watching the band. Thank you Cindi, John, Cowboy Steve and all the staff for welcoming us.

The vast majority of the staff exceeded expectations and made our 4-day holiday remarkable.The experience this ranch offers is unique and really, really special. Accommodations are not fancy, but the overall ranch experience, food, staff, horseback riding and other activities are exceptional.The horses and lands guests have access to explore is mind blowing and we appreciated how dog friendly the ranch was.Cowboy Steve definitely stood out as someone that makes this place really special. Strong, clear communicator that ensures everyone is having a great time yet, the animals and people are safe.Truly wonderful holiday for our entire family, including our teens... even with minimal to zero wifi or service to be online over the entire stay.

Fantastic place to spend time.Very rustic 100+ year old cabins.The staff is amazing, so kind and friendly. They make sure that everything you need is there.The horses are well cared for and the riding is spectacular.Dogs are allowed off leash everywhere, as long as they are well behaved.

Thank you for the warm welcome, yummy meals and adorable and comfortable accommodations. But really it was Wrangler Steve, owner John as well as his entire staff who made us feel like family. The atmosphere was like stepping back to cowboy times, with rustic cabins, an adorable theatre and saloon ! We were matched with experienced horses, and guides who took us through back country that was so beautiful- seeing all kinds of wildlife. Steve taught us so much in such a short time and really connected us to our horses.Wake up early to see the horses called in from overnight pastures and feel the thunder! We can’t wait to return!Most greatfull for the girls weekend memories that we can’t wait to repeat.Thank you so much again for accommodating us on short notice after such a crushing experience being rejected to ride at SUNDANCE RANCH due to a humiliating weigh in and unfortunately being five pounds over a weight restriction.

Just came back from a 2 days stay. The experience was so nice. The staff were welcoming, kind, helpful. There were many repeat customers that have been there 5+ times and now I understand why. The horses are very well trained, perfect for even a complete beginner. I recommend bringing bottled water because their tap water is mineral water. Bring eyemasks and earplugs, because the cabins are creaky and can get bright. Bring a bag of carrots for the horsies to eat after 6pm when they're all outside and you can walk up to them. The food was always good! Very bad reception in the area. Trail rides were awesome. I'll be back soon <3Tip: use the disabled washroom next to the kitchen for privacy when you gotta go number two but can't do it when others are near.
