Capital City Gymnastics Centre

I liked the place I went there for a field trip with my class and it was really fun it was $50 for 2 days ($25 each day) but that was for my class and i do not know the regular pricing for lessons it was really enjoyable the space was absolutely big and according to one of the instructors it was way bigger. They also have a huge variety of tbings they have 2 opened areas for cartwheels rolls and stiff you can do on the ground lots of bars and roughly 3 to 5 trampolines, 3 ropes to climb and a whole bunch of pads for safety reasons of course. But there were a few downsides it has that of odor that's unexplainable it smells like Launchpad or a place where people sweat alot and it has a foam pit for jumping into. The smell will wear off overtime as you get used to it its usually 5 seconds the smell rushes you and they also make you expose your feet as a safety concern of course so you don't slip.And during the time I went we did warm up laps in circles and the floor felt sharp even tho it was a mat. It felt sharp to do turns on or maybe my feet are just very soft. But overall really fun.

Been coming here for years. Love the atmosphere in the gym. The coaches are absolutely amazing as well as all the office staff. Recommend for all ages and levels of ability

A wonderful place for a Birthday Party!We just had our 6 year olds party here. The coaches were firm and fair just like I would be! The kids had fun using the equipment for an hour. The party room was awesomely simple with a table, chairs, garbage etc. We decorated while they were in class and then had cake etc.Thank you coaches you both did a great job!

My niece looks forward to her Mini Tots class every week! She giggles & smiles from ear to ear every class, the coaches make it so much fun & stress free for us Aunties!

Great place for a birthday! The coaches were amazing and did great with a group of 30 girls. They ran stations and also let the kids have free play time. They had the entire gym to themselves! The coach even played Encanto music for the students because she saw it was Encanto themed. They are under new management and HIGHLY recommend them!

The staff are super rude, and not helpful. They don’t ever answer their phone cause no one is ever at the front desk. I asked one question and they gave attitude and laughed. They also treat the kids like trash on their “kids night out” events. Can’t believe this place is still running…they’re unbelievably unprofessional. Off to wonderful Ortona gymnastics, they actually know how to run a professional business.

My son's have both attended when they were little. Most coaches are great with little kids. One coach though (who will remain nameless) is incredibly rude, disrespectful, and quite possibly the worst instructor at the facility. Whenever she is there it is like a cloud is over the facility. She is absolutely awful especially to boys, always snapping at them, and I have seen her undermine other parents who were disciplining there children. It is a shame because she is the only problem with this facility but she seems to always be there

I trained at Capital City as an athlete for Acro for two and a half years. I quit a few months ago because I was tired of being treated so poorly by the coaches. Even though sometimes the coaches were nice and showed compassion towards us, in the end the bad overruled the good. Many of my friends including myself have been told that we are overreacting about injuries or sickness. Other athletes and parents constantly gossip about others. We felt as if there was a lot of pressure laid on all of us, even the younger athletes. The coaches have been there for us in many situations but I feel as though it was time to move on from this sport a long time ago. Thank you.

Coaches are very hands off, kids spend more time running around than being instructed. I was warned about this from other parents, however they were the only gym with weekend availability left. We will be registering elsewhere for spring.

If I could choose 0 stars I would. What a waste of money. My son has been here since he was two. The last three terms his coaches have been useless. He hasn't progressed at all. His coach is on her phone texting, not paying attention to the kids, and for the last three terms my son has learnt absolutely nothing. Every week she starts late and ends early and all they ever do is run down the track and then walk back to the start, sometimes the beam to just walk across and then they sit in the foam pit for 20 minutes and all my son does is build towers with the foam blocks. My son fell off the tall beam last week and was crying and she didn't even notice. If I wanted my son to just run, play with blocks and walk across something narrow I could do all that at home for free. I've brought up my concerns in the past and nothing has been done. If your kid is starting gymnastics find somewhere else!
