Angela is a rockstar. Her passion for teaching is second to none. My son loves his reading class and we’re excited to send his younger brother soon. It’s been so incredible to see his progress, but more importantly, witness his confidence and passion for reading evolve. I cannot recommend this program, and Angela enough. You will not be disappointed!

I had registered my son two years ago in Ms. Angela’s class. Angela makes learning fun. My son leaves every class feeling empowered, happy and looking forward to his next session. I’ve noticed a huge improvement with my son’s confidence. We were fortunate to also attend Angela's PA day camps where we met Holly. Holly is a fantastic math teacher who is very kind and gentle in her manner.Angela’s style of teaching is so wonderful and refreshing!! She’s patient and supportive, and really knows how to motivate her students.Angela, you are amazing at what you do! Your passion and dedication is beyond words! We are lucky to have partnered with you on our son's learning journey.

Highly Recommended! Angela is an absolutely AMAZING teacher. I enrolled my daughter (Grade 2) in her reading lessons and instantly noticed an improvement in her reading skills. Not only was Angela able to improve her reading skills so quickly, she got her EXCITED about reading for the first time. Angela makes the classes so fun that my daughter really looks forward to going. She is such a kind, dynamic & passionate person and is so wonderful at connecting with the kids. I am so forever thankful for Angela and what she has done for my daughter and my family.

Angela is amazing and I’m so grateful we found her. She taught my daughter how to read and boosted her confidence all at the same time. Angela is so patient and kind with the kids. I felt so hopeless when my daughter started as what I was doing to help her wasn’t working but within a few weeks of her attending Angela’s we saw an improvement in her and now she is all caught up with the rest of her class and beaming with pride of what she has accomplished in such a short space of time.

Angela spent extensive time with my children and brought their reading up so much. She is incredibly inviting and understanding and wants to work with you to improve your child's skills. She ask intelligent questions on your child so that she can better understand how they think, as well as how they learn.She has taught two of my daughters and is right now working with my autistic son, after only working with him for a less than 3 months, his teachers, ece, and other specialists that work with him have noticed an increase in the number of words he says as well as his pronunciations.Anyone that asks me who I would recommend I always say Angela and Open book Tutoring. Hands down one of the best decisions that we have made to improve our children's reading.

We signed up our grade 2 and SK boys with Angela for reading classes from the recommendation of 4 other families who are either currently enrolled or were enrolled in the past. With our grade 2 son, reading was always a battle; he would get frustrated, drag his heels, and fight us on doing reading to practice at home. After going for 2 weeks to Miss Angela, he came home and declared that he loves reading and his skills and confidence in his reading have improved immensely since we signed him up! He loves bringing home books to read and will pick up a book to read on his own now without us suggesting it! Our SK has jumped up so many reading levels since starting with Miss Angela and has blown us away with his progress! He is so very proud to read his weekly reader books to us. Both boys adore her and look forward to going to class each week! Angela is an absolute gem and so great at what she does! She manages to instil a love and enthusiasm for reading while being incredibly effective at teaching!

My son is in grade one and was struggling with reading. Angela was highly recommended to me by many families in the community. In such a short period of time his reading improved significantly and his confidence was back. She has excellent communication and fosters such a loving environment for learning. Would highly recommend.

Angela was fantastic with my son. He started the summer before grade 2, and was behind his grade reading level and a reluctant reader to say the least. After the first session, he came out so excited and happy. She made the learning fun! He looked forward to seeing her every week. We will miss our time there! Definitely recommend!

I highly, highly recommend Angela from Open Book Tutoring. She has been so incredible with my 6 year old son, and has not only taught him how to read but how to love it and be excited about reading. She is such a positive, and happy person and has created such a warm and fun space for the kids to learn in. She is always very open and honest and is never afraid to have a long chat about our sons progress, behavior, or just about parenting in general. My son started with Angela in September of 2020 where he barely knew how to read and now one of the few at the top of his class with reading. We are so extremely happy with her programs and how she works with the children. Definitely recommend her over and over again!
