Opera Talk and ShowWatched Wagner opera Das Rheingold part two of a trilogy an entertaining experience revolving around a gold ring and power, nymphs, giants, gods and dwarves. A talk prior to performance in French and English explained the background of the Opera and story. The theatre had also two video screens translating the German lyrics. This theatre is centrally located near Contemporary art gallery, mall, restaurants at Place Des Arts station.

The dress rehearsals are cheap and fantastic performances. Evening performances are still very fairly priced and offer excellent performances. I saw Faust here many years ago and still remember it as one of my favorite operas!

Another Brick in the Wall was amazing! The way the music was translated for the Opera is impressive. Don't think you'll hear the same songs & music. The lyrics were kept obviously, but the music really fits the Opera. Amazing!!!

Best (only) opera I've been to. Very nice location, if the bathrooms by the main doors are full, then go around to the entrance to the boxes, they have a bathroom there.
