Dominic took care of my precious, once-beautiful bank clock, cleaned and restored it to working order. But even better than that he fitted lights behind the glass face so that it glows at me across the room. If I'm feeling festive a can even make it change colour! Brilliant.

Couldn't repair a proper clock, offered to install a battery action but this would change the aesthetics of the piece. Perhaps I should have worded better, by proper clock I meant an old fashioned clock. This is the only clock shop I know of in Camborne and did not intend offence. The request for comment would not have come up if I hadn't been in the shop, where I spoke with a very pleasant young man.

I recently had 3 clocks which needed repairing - 1 mechanical and 2 battery. I found Cornish Clockworks online and contacted the owner Dominic. I made an appointment to meet him at his premises in Redruth where he made an assessment of the repairs required and the cost. He gave me a completion time of 10 days. The clocks were returned on time a further appointment for collection was kept on time and my clocks are now keeping perfect time. What more could you expect from a man in the time business. Dominic is helpful and knowlagable, with a great eye for the unusual.The shop is a proper aladins cave with an interesting quirky twist.Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
