Normally I have great experiences at this location. Today there was an issue with their debit machine, the woman working there called for a Katie to come help the issues. Very short with her fellow employee, and incredibly rude the the customer infront of me and to myself as well. We are all have bad days, but part of a customer service job is knowing how to keep your cool. I hope you have a nice day Katie.

everyone seems to have a bad experience here, but in my experience, they have never lost a package i’ve dropped off and that’s good enough for me

This place isn't equipped for the volume it receives. There's always a lineup and seldom is there more than one person behind the counter right after work. Considering that half a dozen times I've been there there's someone with a shopping cart full of packages to send for their home business waiting 30 minutes + to pick up a package is pretty standard.

This is a great post office.People are just whiny little babies. I once saw a customer chuck a banana at a worker here because their parcel wasn't there. Customers are extremely entitled, rude and disrespectful to the staff. Then to go whining with bad reviews? Laughable at best

Just today, at about 4pm, I went to the Canada Post booth at Clair Road to put $150.00 onto my prepaid Visa card.In the past, I had no issues reloading my prepaid Visa through a Canada Post franchise. It’s a straightforward process - request a top-up of anywhere between $25 and $500 plus the fee, present your government ID, and see your deposit posted on your app. It’s a quick transaction, no more than five minutes each time, and your funds are ready instantly.I was charged $5.95 for the reload fee. (The reload fee for the prepaid Visa is $3). When I questioned the clerk about the high fee, she softly replied that the fee must have increased. I was skeptical. Canada Post would have told me about the price increase via email or the good old snail mail.I discovered that the money was put into a payment voucher instead of my Visa. As a result, I was unable to pay my bills online.Immediately, I confronted the clerk who was supposed to reload my card. She insisted that she did it correctly. If so, then I would have seen the transaction on my app, a text message and my email.I became angry. All I received from the clerk and two store managers was “calm down”. They didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Nor did they seem to care. Or, admit that their precious clerk made a mistake. Whatever happened to customer service? I used to work in that capacity, and the first thing I was told was that the customer was always right.I stormed out.(At another location, a clerk confirmed that the transaction was done wrong).I will never use the Clair Road post office again, nobody seems adequately trained and customer service-oriented here. These people should be fired.

Waited 20min in line to spend $20 to mail small package through regular mail and package never reached destination. In fact, Canada Post investigated and the one and only scan was when I dropped off said package 32 days ago. No record that it even left this postal outlet. Don't rely on Canada Post. Update- Canada Post never found my package, its been a year, and when I was reimbursed mailing fee they didn't even reimburse the taxes. Nuff said!!

Wonderful, convenient. Marie is the nicest and most helpful lady I’ve met, just an absolute pleasure to deal with, your an asset to this company and someone others should strive to be like. 4 stars because the others are hit and miss unfortunately and this location has become brutal for massive amounts of people using this outlet.

I recently used Xpresspost to send some documents for which I needed a signature. The 'normal' post office employee was on break and another Shoppers employee was filling in for her. When I told her what I wanted to do, it seemed as if she didn't really know the process - in fact, she couldn't figure out how to add a signature requirement to the package at all. I was hesitant in having her complete the transaction as these were originals that I needed proof of delivery for, so she indicated that I could purchase the Xpresspost envelope, fill in the address, etc., then come back later to actually send it and add the signature when the regular employee was back. I returned later that day and was told I needed to purchase a 'Signature Required' sticker, which I did, and this was added to the package. When I checked the tracking a couple of days later, the package was delivered, but it indicated that a signature was not requested. UGH! I called Canada Post and they advised me that the signature stamp should have been purchased at the same time as the Xpresspost envelope. I obviously was not aware of this. I think we all assume that when we go to a Canada Post location, the people behind the counter are well versed in how to send every type of parcel - when you are spending $$$ on Xpresspost and then pay more to get a signature as extra assurance of delivery, this is exactly what you expect to get.To be clear - I'm NOT blaming the employee(s) - both of which were quite friendly & tried to help. It is Canada Posts and/or Shoppers responsibility to ensure that the people that staff the post office are properly trained. As it stands, since the company that I was sending the documents to is practically impossible to reach by phone/email, etc., (which is why I wanted proof of delivery), I just have to keep my fingers crossed that they did, in fact, receive my package.

I was told by an elder lady if I wanted to ship luggages I had to go all the way to downtown because only they had proper scales. By then I already had my luggage at hand since they had informed me that they did receive luggage delivery business the other day. I did not have a car, so I pushed my luggage back to where I live for another 20 minutes by walk.Ironically, when I finally had all my stuff shipped today, I found out the scales are the exact same in both properties. However I have spent another half of the day on dealing with my shipment as well as taxi payment, so I am expecting an explanation for my extra time, money, and energy!!

Went to send a package today and adding tracking on it and when I left I realized they made a mistake on the postal code and had to pay extra to fix it. Basically paid twice. Double check before leaving. Incompetent
