After hearing nothing but good things and recommendations for some friends and even other store references, I decided to check out Sight and Arms. I was also dealing with a warranty claim and seen that they were listed as a warranty provider. I'm glad that I went through them! I took the non-restricted course here and I can say that the course was presented very well by one of the instructors, Paul, & was helpful in listening to any firearm-related questions that many new gun owners may have upon obtaining their license.

My son and I took the Firearms Safety Course this weekend. It was a great class to be in and Paul did a fantastic job bringing his knowledge to every level of person in the class. He really cares about ensuring everyone has the opportunity to safely own and use firearms.

Fantastic knowledgeable staff. Had a shotgun I own go off before the shell had entered the breach due to a malfunction. Talked with Randy who stripped it down and found the cause of the malfunction and was able to repair it right then and there. Great service, great workmanship, great people. My new new go-to spot.

I try to shop local, and support local but yesterday the service here blew me away. When I’m in the middle of talking to the guy over the counter and some loud mouth and her husband come in and he starts helping them while I’m in mid conversation with him is the reason I’d rather pay more, shop out of city or out of province just for better service. I got what I needed plus some from out of province and it was well worth the extra money. I’ll never walk into this store again.

Did my CFSC with Sight and Arms this past weekend, as someone who has only shot a firearm 3 or 4 times I was nervous going in. My instructor Denis was great, he did an amazing job of getting all the important info out while not dragging on. We had lots of 1 on 1 time to handle all the firearms and by the end of the day I was very comfortable handling all the actions and felt great going into my practical. Cant say enough great things on Denis and highly recommend booking in a class with him.

*Update* - Returned as promised, and had the opportunity to take their stellar Reloading 101 Course! Even if you're not one for reloading, the course gives you some great insight into powders, bullets, weights and ballistics. Randy works with you, and teaches. From start to finish, the course is taught safely, professionally and with tried, tested and true insight. Highly recommended instruction for anyone wanting to dip their toes into the world of reloading, or seasoned reloaders looking to fine tune their craft. Go by yourself, or go with a group of friends. You won't be disappointed.
