I rent a property in SSM. These 2 fellas dropped by to cut the grass. I didn’t know they (NPM) offered this service when renting the property. Extremely polite, friendly, prompt and clean. Appreciate looking after us here. Thanks again!!

Prices are high and quality of service really sucks. Have to call about snow plowing every time it snows and the contractor they hired is awful to be polite!!! The person that answers the phone is not very polite either. Its like we have to argue with him to get things done here on Breton Rd apartments

Be sure to take a very close look at the 4+ star reviews, they are fake reviews set up by the owner in a desperate attempt to salvage any PR for this company. I cannot imagine taking the time to set up fake reviews and denying the real ones that call this company out for exactly what it does when you could simply just not disregard human life to save a penny. Listen to the 1 star reviews folks, because I can guarantee you will have the exact same experience as them and if not, worse.

We had a great experience using Northstar Property Management! It was very convenient to be able to view the property at a time that worked for us and the leasing process went smoothly and quickly. Highly Recommended!!!

I haven’t heard one good thing about this company or management team. They do not attend to their tenets in emergency situations, they do not provide information on when they show up at their rental properties(showing up unannounced). Some of the houses that they show for rent are disgusting and not suitable to live in but they will over charge with ridiculous prices. Some of these houses have mould growing, rats, windows that don’t open(emergency hazard), and so much more. They take advantage of vulnerable people and don’t do well with individuals that are aware of these situations going on.It just makes me upset knowing that this company is taking advantage of so many of our citizens…If needing to rent an apartment or property, please go else where because Northstar properties will do nothing besides disappoint. I know this because I was once a tenet.

Northstar Property Management was very professional and flexible in providing us with options available . The interaction seemed less and all of the associates that we spoke to were very polite and friendly to work with. This made the whole process very light and friendly. I would recommend Northstar Property Management for both property management and tenant placement.

Northstar manages local rental properties but tends to not prioritize any repairs. City by law work orders have been sent out to landlord regarding structural damage and holes on rental house last summer and still have not been addressed. There’s been black mold present in the home which has not need addressed, Rats have been invading living space and after being notified about all the entrance points both inside and out, and the fact that an exterminator was needed, after following up with no results, renter had to seal inside holes and contact as well as pay for exterminator out of pocket with no reimbursement because consultants at North Star as well as the landlord apparently determined that having rats constantly invading living space is not an emergency or a matter to be promptly dealt with by requiring no reimbursement because North Star “didn’t approve it.” On top of all the issues, communication there between the company seems very flawed. With all of this said, they argued, attitude, lied saying that they have licences pest control people working for them, yet they clearly know absolutely nothing about rats or anything. I caught the guy Jamie lying to me about that on numerous occasions. And then said that a bunch of the crucial work would be repaired the next week. 2 weeks later, received an eviction letter from them saying that rent wasn’t paid which is was. (Second time that has happened) when contacted about that eviction notice and the work that still hasn’t been done yet again, president and ceo, Jason said yes it was paid, then continued to say that he would treat us how we treated him. All because after a year we had to go to the ltb to get reimbursement and pleaded with them.After northstar refused reimbursement for all the temporary sealing of spray foam/steel mesh etc done by renter and refused reimbursement for the renter having to contact and pay for pest control for rat infestation, they still won’t fix the holes inside because they are temporarily foam sealed by renter which won’t even be reimbursed? They now say if rats continue coming out /once they chew through the foam, then they would fix what they need to. They cut every corner possible. There definitely are some nice, knowledgeable workers, however the way things are managed as well as the way the tenants are treated is unacceptable.Very petty unprofessional company. They will also always show up to your home unannounced. Very petty, unprofessional management who will lie to you, won’t get jobs done, make you pay for their expenses. Read some other reviews on their pages they’re almost all the same.

Northstar Property Management has a very professional, responsive and effective team. In addition to finding the right tenant, the team maximized my rental income even if their commission was not correlated with it. Highly Recommended!!!

In regards to Stephen Devoe’s review that this company is claiming is fake.I am confirming- It’s not fake, it’s real he was speaking on my behalf, as I’m a tenant. To be clear, I’m renting from this company and Stephen Devoe witnessed everything going wrong here. Everything he wrote in that review is true. I don’t recommend doing business with this company. No one deserves to be treated this way. Very unethical company. I am still being refused reimbursement for paying for pest control since they did not take action and claimed my situation wasn’t an emergency. Northstar’s team claimed that having rats in my personal space and rat droppings on my personal items was not an emergency. I have proof that the owner of the property I’m living in, claims when I told Northstar’s team about this emergency it was simply not expressed to the owner that it was an emergency, therefore, nothing was done. No ownership was taken here and I’m still left paying for pest control on my own. After two weeks of being neglected in a very unhealthy situation I contacted a pest control company on my own. No one deserves to be disregarded like this.
