Staff are very professional and friendly. They take extra care to make sure their areas and equipment are clean and sanitary before and after each client.I've been to Erin twice in the last 2 months. My daughter got a piercing from @erinpokesholes and she was so professional, kind and all around amazing to work with. My daughter is very anxious about needles but Erin made it a fantastic experience. The store was spotless and she was super helpful with info and follow up care when it was time to replace the stud. I highly recommend going to see her for piercings. She loves what she does, and it clearly shows.

I came to Celeste with a custom concept and her design was even better than I had hoped! I find tattoo shops a little intimidating but the vibe of the studio was very chill and friendly, Celeste made me feel comfortable throughout the process. All in all, such a smooth experience and I am thrilled with the end result. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Extremely professional and clean shop with many amazing artists. I would absolutely recommend True North to anyone looking to make their tattoo dreams a reality.I've been getting tattooed by Austin since 2020, completing numerous large scale and small tattoos. He is extraordinarily skilled, attentive, patient, and understanding during every part of the process leading up to you walking out of the shop with a stellar tattoo. Every session is a great experience because he makes it such a friendly, welcoming and inclusive space.

I went to true North tattoos for my 4th tattoo now, and I’m amazed at the work that they do. The first time I visited was because I seen my friends tattoo, and it was so detailed and clean that I was absolutely mind blown at how talented they all are. They are very professional they make sure to inform the customer of all the pros and cons and also inform about after care and how to take care of the tattoo in the future. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Don’t be fooled by other tattoo shops this is the best place you can get a tattoo from. They take time and make sure everything is suited for your needs. The staff is friendly they make sure you are comfortable and give you great suggestions and make sure everything goes into place to get the best tattoo possible. Pricing is also is not too high. Amazing experience, will and can’t wait to go again!!!

I researched many tattoo places & spoke with family & friend with tattoos before deciding to go to this establishment. Ive never had a tattoo but after several years of considering, I arranged a consultation with one of their male tattoo artists. He was late to my consultation and was not prompt in responding to texts messages. This would have typically been a “red flag” for me, which I now regret not listening to.I had to reschedule two times due to a family medical emergency but attended the actual appointment earlier this month. Once again, he was late, which made me extremely nervous & doubtful. Foolish & naive me, went ahead with the tattoo as it had taken so long to get to this point (money, courage & time) & he kept reassuring me that he could give me the tattoo I had specially requested. He presented at both my consultation and appointment as distracted, rushed & a poor communicator. Again, my mistake for disregarding another red flag. When he applied the stencil I commented that it did not look like what I wanted & he again reassured me and told me to lie down. I showed him the design again, he asked me if I wanted colour to which I started, “well yes” as my image was shades of purple, blue & black. Another red flag. When he was done, after an hour, I sat up a bit shocked & bewildered because this was my first experience. (much like having undergone a dental procedure for the first time). I told him I needed to go home and process the experience, paid the balance owing & left. Being a naive idiot, I also gave him a small tip as my sons advised me that this was expected. I am now stuck with a tattoo that is not what I asked for. I reached out to both he & his boss. Surprisingly, the artist was prompt with his email response but made several excuses & put all the blame on me. His boss agreed to meet with me though when arrived he was also late. The boss, was also quick to come up with many excuses about his employee and refused to listen to my concerns about the tattoo and my version events. This guy literally stood up after less than 5 minutes of meeting with me & said “we’re done” & “what do you expect me to do”, then proceeded to show me the door & said “good luck” as I walked out. I will never recommend this business to anyone or those who I choose to tell or ask about my experience. Needless to say, I’m now exploring my options for either a cover up or possible laser removal. Extremely disappointed as this was to be my first & only tattoo & a memorial at that! Hard lesson to learn, even at my age!

i went to celeste for my first tattoo about 3-4 weeks ago! i was a bit intimidated by the whole process- but celeste made me very comfortable. the tattooing process was well explained. she was very easy to communicate with, and understanding when i asked for size changes, stencil changes, etc. celeste was super quick and her lines were very well done! i’m seriously in love with my tattoo. it’s exactly what i wanted. thank you so much!!

I have no idea why it took me so long to write a google review! With all the compliments I receive, I always send them to True North. It is always a pleasure being there, the owner is always friendly, the shop is kept spotless, just a fantastic placeand environment with highly skilled artists! I've had a few tattoos now done by Tiffany and would highly recommend. She's an amazing artist. I also had a piercing completed by Erin and would also highly recommend her! She made me feel very comfortable, was very honest as well.
