Prices are too high in comparison to other local businesses and the staff is not willing to work with the customer.I purchased Varathane Professional 1100 at Timber Mart for $20.99 (regular price). They only had one can in stock so I came to Home Hardware (Century Hardware) and bought another can of the same product there. I noticed they charged me $25.99. I showed the cashier my receipt from the local competition for the same product at $5 less and asked they price match it. She stated they don't do that. So I will no longer support them with my business, thanks!

Sold me a weeder with a plywood handle that broke the first try (of course). Instead of simply replacing the defective handle with a proper wood handle ($18) they insisted that I either buy the replacement wood handle or buy a much more expensive version of the same tool. I got a refund and walked out the door. An $18 replacement handle cost you a customer. I’ll go out of town before I shop there again.

The service is always friendly. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The store is small but if they don't have something in stock they will order it in for you within a few days. Great store.

My taillight on my truck lost a pushing contest against a tree. I needed some of the red sheathing tape to patch it up before heading back to the lake. But, all the individual rolls were sold out. No problem, they opened up a package of four and sold me one. Now I could keep the taillight housing clean. Thanks to the staff for making this work!

Thus was my first visit to this store. My husband had already been and had great things to say. I found all of the staff in this store to be very attentive. They were all hard at work pricing and sticking shelves but each of them either helped or offered to help me find what I was looking for.
