We’re regulars and have gone back every year (when open). This year was a great disappointment. We really didn’t like the new layout. Unless your standing for hours, you’ll be very far from stage. NO TIM HORTONS was insulting. We drink our coffee while watching the later show. It’s a tradition. The drink ‘bar’ was OUT of water bottles. Getting out was horrible as the crowd took over and walking ‘space’ which was a complete nightmare in a wheelchair. We have a soft spot for this festival and will try again next year BUT it will be our last if they don’t improve from this year.

I never expected you to be this reckless.. I had booked a ticket to ride a balloon on 8/16, and when I arrived, I was surprised that the flight was canceled due to the presence of wind and rain, but why can't you send an email or something like that to all the passengers before the cost and access to the festival Other than that, I changed the date to 8/20, and when I arrived I was also surprised by your staff, they say that there is no space in the balloon and you can't ride today either, although I saw many of the balloons that went up with only one or two passengers, this is apart from the staff's style It is not acceptable at all. I have been waiting for this festival with impatience. You cannot be so disrespectful about people and their time, which may go to waste. What a goal, what a truly failed festival.

Honestly in the past this event was great and so much fun, however, this year's event was unorganized, overpriced, overcrowded and unless it changes I will never recommend this event to anyone.To start the parking situation is unacceptable, there are no shaded areas on the fairgrounds, the line up for food/water/beer/tickets was over a 2 hour wait in the beating sun. Half the kiosks selling water were sold out after 5pm. The 2 water filling stations had over a 2 hour wait each.There were 3 ticket booths, to buy tickets for the rides, but only 2 were open which resulted in a 1 hour wait with no shade.(See photo)They lacked seating areas for people, tons of people were sitting on the ground behind trailers and restaurants to try and get some relief from the sun.This year I would have rather spent my 58$ on a seasons pass to LaRonde.To the organizers here are a few tips... have more water filling stations, hire water people to walk around and sell bottles of water, set up tents and cooling stations to shield visitors from the sun, spread out your restaurants and have them located in the other sections as well, etc.There is so much you can do to make the event fun, safe and enjoyable for everyone.If you want a successful and safe event hire me, I'll even charge half of what you paid the other organizers.

It is festival basically for kids during the day. They have all the rides and activities.There is igloo with mist and flowers and a small farm with goats, Llama, hens.Food and tickets are a bit expensive.In the evening around 6 pm there is hot air ballons and followed by concerts.Better to bring your food and chairs to sit during the concert.Parking is paid

Understanding that weather events several kilometers away will determine if the balloons will fly. We have been coming to this festival for the past 10 years. We always have a great time

For this entrance fee we expect the event to be more organized and we can have better views. We tried to sit outside the fence but our views were either blocked by the trucks or by people in front of us. We end up squeezed in one narrow lane in the middle of two fields with people shoulder to shoulder. Food and drinks were ridiculously expensive, $10 for a can of beer. We waited for half an hour in the line for food and nothing was being served and the line didn’t move at all. We had to leave the site and eat outside.

Great place to visit for Locals and people from outside the balloons taking flight mesmerizes kids and grown ups alike, the activities availables for all, all kind of local and specialty food and desserts available for everyone, prices are agreeable and the afternoon and evening music shows are always a blast.

Don't buy tickets!! Watch hot air balloons outside the venue!!▪︎lack the shade or bench to sit and rest▪︎too crowded of people▪︎no helpful staffs▪︎no lights inside portable toilet at night.I should've watched it outside like a local residents!!
