Map Town

My map arrived damaged unfortunately. I emailed Maptown and they got back to me right away and said they would send me a new one, no questions asked. They shipped my replacement the same day. You can tell lots about a company that delivers this kind of service AFTER they have your money. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up for Maptown. Great service!!

Kim at Map Town was able to print off several customized topographic maps (digitally marked up with route options) on synthetic paper for me, which were instrumental for a spring ski traverse. The print quality was excellent and the burly waterproof paper withstood some harsh conditions with no signs of wear. Turnaround time on my custom order was very quick as well. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Purchased 4 maps and received them in a timely manner only issue was the quality of the print.I reached out to their customer service team with a doubt that I would not get a response but I was wrong. They responded quickly and had no problem with addressing my issue and were going to send newly printed maps with guaranteed quality.I was blown away by the class of this company and would highly recommend them for all your map needs.

I LOVE MAPTOWN!!!I have bought at least 50 topographical maps from this place. Small Mom and Pop shop in Calgary Alberta, and they are 100% the easiest people to deal with. I was speaking with Alleen (I hope I spelled that right...) at the shop about an order I placed for 5 maps and needed her help with a delivery issue. She took my information down, got me a solution and called me right back with my problem resolved within 15 minutes.The maps I have gotten here have all be really good quality and I have used them for teaching Map & Compass, Personal and work related expeditions, and they have all worked out really good for the intended purpose. I have yet to order anything other than the paper versions of the map and I would like to eventually have an opportunity to order a laminated or a waterproof version and see how they hold up. Thanks MapTown, your maps have been great. Anyone looking for maps should check this place out.

Disappointing. Walked in looking for a world map to mark our travels, 3 staff on and not a single one acknowledged us, greeted us or offered help finding a map despite walking past us while we were looking. 2 stars because they did indeed have a nice selection.

A great amount of maps from all over the world and detailed maps for Canada topographical and Hiking Maps Galore. The service is friendly and the staff are attentive and are quick to answer questions that you may have.

I just received my globe I bought in the mail today and I absolutely love it. I have wanted this for a long time now and finally decided to purchase one since the product in general can be a bit pricey and MapTown had such amazing products and prices and although it had to be ordered since it was out of stock - I cannot have complaints about the time frame of shipping(about 3-4 weeks with everything going on) since this amazing local company still got the shipment to me during a pandemic. Even during a bit of a mix up they were on top of it and genuinely cared about my service. 5/5 ⭐️ from me I highly recommend this local Calgary store and hope that I can visit in store some day.

The folks at Map Town are great. We bought a World Map from them and had it mounted on foam board. We didn't own a truck to come pick the map up so the owner of the store delivered it to our house! Great customer service and knowledgeable staff!

Complete and utter waste of time this store! Ordered a map online and I was supposed to be notified when it was at the store - nothing! Called today and it’s been sitting they a week, no call no email to say it’s they. My wife was downtown yesterday and could have collected it. Cancelled the order will just go to Amazon.ca and order one instead of giving local business the custom.
