Corbeil Appliances

I'm doing this review for a friend who does not have access. He recently purchased a microwave from Corbeil and it was a nightmare from the start. Their customer service was virtually non-existent, in fact they were quite rude at times.Within two weeks of purchasing the product it started not turning off and turning on by itself. He called Corbeil and they told him to call Samsung. Corbeil did eventually send a service person who said nothing was wrong. Upon further complaining another service person was sent who determined it was in fact defective.Once again Corbeil washed their hands of it. He spoke with Samsung and they said they would replace it. After a bunch of calls and follow ups he finally got his new microwave, 3 months later. When he picked it up the sales guy made a snide comment about all his calling.My friend had since bought a new microwave from Leon's and is now trying to sell this new one. It's safe to say that Corbeil has lost a customer for life.This review was written on behalf of my friend who took the trouble to write the review for me to put in for him.

We had a bad experience with 2 other companies and had to cancel our orders because they couldn't deliver within the condo rules time-frame (hours of deliveries). Corbeil delivered during the approved condo time-frame on time and by excellent delivery men. They were polite, super nice and professional! Bravo Corbeil!

Corbeil delivery team was amazing!! Because my front door was too narrow to allow the fridge to go through, they brought in the fridge and stove all the way through the path in the park behind my house and into my backyard to get in the house through the patio door. They made it look effortless but I know how much care and thought they put into every move. A perfect delivery through an unconventional path! I am grateful for their impeccable service.Shawn Green, the manager at this Corbeil store on Innes in Gloucester, was very knowledgeable, patient and thoughtful in all his advice and service. His colleague Doug was also incredibly helpful in my selection of appliances. They are a well-coordinated team of professionals. The smooth communication with Shawn allowed timely coordination and adjustment in the kitchen design process as well as the well-prepared logistical details for delivery. I have dealt with a number of appliance providers across Ottawa over the years, and there are good deals everywhere, but Corbeil stands out with their excellent services and on-time free delivery.

Expertise in house to answer all my questions, got the appliance I settled on quickly with a price tag comparable to other competitive stores and the delivery Team was efficient and punctual. All in all - a great experience!!!

Salesperson was awesome. Knowledgeable of products and answered all my questions. Even called me to tell me that they had a better quality product at a cheaper rate and refunded me the difference. The delivery people here are A1 punctual friendly curtious professional and helpful. Couldn't ask for better delivery men.

Purchased a fridge 4 years ago from corbeil appliances and bought an extended warranty with it. our 4 year fridge broke last week and all food was spoiled. I contacted corbeil only to find out that the extended warranty was offered through a 3rd party name comerco" I was given the number to contact them for service.The wait times on hold just to make a request is 30-60 mins. I tried making an online service request last week and found out this morning that the request was rejected????? its been 6 daysWe have purchased several appliances from Corbeil. This will be the last one. What terrible sertvice. This is your typical coporation once they get their money thats all they care about.will never purchase another appliance from corbeil. Comerco was the reason i stopped buying appliances from home depot."

We were greeted immediately by Marc Doherty & we told him the model #’s of the Maytag washer/dryer combo we were interested in purchasing. After he showed them to us, he suggested the same units but without the glass top/door which we liked even better! Once we agreed on the price (with multiple discounts/sales) we wanted to check out a new Maytag Dishwasher which Marc showed us a few models. Marc was always very professional & knowledgeable & recommended exactly what he felt WE would need AND benefit from. With all the discounts we received, we decided to purchase the extended warranty plan, which was a very reasonable price, as well.The Corbeil Innes Road, Gloucester store itself, is very well laid out, very well lite & has plenty of stock, amazing!The delivery was within 5 days, we received a link the day before delivery so we could check our delivery status & we received a delivery call within 1/2 hour of delivery & another one within 4 minutes of delivery!We WILL be back to buy our above range microwave, fridge & stove!

Our sales person Derek was fabulous! He worked very hard to get my Mum almost exactly what she wanted.2 days after receiving the product there was a problem, and after calling and talking to one of the ladies (Gina) I believe. She contacted the manufacturer and this was very quick on her part. This issue is still on an active call.I must say the only thing I'm disappointed with is the product looks like it might be refurbished instead of brand new. Will have to talk to the company.
