Burkholder United Church

i love god so much I'm just happy he was able to bring my child out of a 14 month coma.

The Minister is very friendly and his Sermons hold a compassionate positive message with a scent of humour light hearted. One leaves feeling positive.

Attended a community outreach program here on a Thursday evening.Amazing group of folks!

What can one say.

I belong to Sherwood Quilters Guild and we hold our meetings at Burkholder United Church the second Tuesday of every month. The church is very accommodating to our group of women and allow us to use their tables and chairs and set up bar tables for food. I've also been told that perhaps this spring or summer the churches talked about us doing a day retreat for a quilting Guild and the price sounds very reasonable to me. They would lock up our sewing machines and supplies in the room in the basement and no one else would be allowed to go into the room while we are doing our day retreat. So I do like Burkholder United Church. I do not know much about the religious teachings that they abide by but they are very nice I'm very accommodating for our Guild.

I enjoy the weekly church service and tea afterwards. Warm and friendly people.

I visit the cemetery on a fairly regular basis; I have no family or friends buried there but I go there for the feeling of peace and perhaps, giving some souls some company; I like to think they appreciate the company of myself and my dog, Ollie.
