I took my puppy there for his first haircut and I felt instantly assured that he was in safe hands. The staff was super friendly and professional and Ollie was so excited to meet and play with some of the other clients during his visit. They did a great job and we’re very happy to have found them!

Fantastic service. We were in town on holiday and our puppy needed her first groom. They book months in advance but had a cancelation and were able to fit her in. She had a great experience and they did a wonderful job. I was a bit shocked at the $90 bill when I was quoted “around $60” on the phone, but she was so happy and clean I just sucked it up and paid.

My 14 year old shorkie is a sweetheart except during grooming, he becomes as reactive as a gremlin in water. Haha.I’m here in Penticton on a contract and I was so afraid that I wouldn’t find anyone who has the patience and kindness to groom him on a regular basis. Back home I had been through several groomers before I found one who would do it again because of his misbehaving. The team at Shake a Paw is amazing, patient, understanding, and do a phenomenal job. He comes out looking handsome in a cute bow tie or scarf. He is so clean and shiny, and his nails trimmed beautifully, which is a feat since they are hard to cut due to the middle ones curving to the left.Long story short, I highly recommend Shake a Paw Grooming for any furry critter.

Honestly, one of the ladies, believe she's blonde, is quite friendly and seems fairly knowledgeable. The other lady, who has red hair is hopefully a little nicer to the dogs than she is the owners.. She was rude, and blatantly told me that the only option was to completely shave my dog down due to his matting after being neutered.. Made me feel as if I neglect my dog which let me tell you is definitely not the case. After letting them know in advance, he had been nicked several times in another grooming salon around his jewels. I come home and what do you know, another big cut on his privates. For several days after, I am finding spots where they have cut him with their trimmer blade without any mention when he was being picked up. Not only was I made uncomfortable to speak how I feel, but I was constantly shamed about the matting.. Which might I add, pretty typical with doodle hair. On top of that, was overcharged for a shave and cuts all over his poor body. Won't be going ever again.

Stan always happy after. They grind his nails since he freaks if cut. Reasonable rates.great staff good and kind. Outside Play area.....always done when they say they will be. Give you day before reminder call. Love them. I live in summerland and it's worth the trip. You will know your dog is in good hands. These girls know what they are doing and genuinely love they're work.

I have a Catahoula Leopard and Australian Cattle dog mix and couldn't keep up with brushing out her thick undercoat, so finally decided to try a groomer. Wow is all I can say...!! It was more than worth it... Bonnie did an amazing job!My dog then decided to roll in some leaves and poop :( shortly after... and Bonnie saved the day!I didn't have an appointment but walked in and thankfully Bonnie was able to fit her in for a shampoo.Very appreciative of the professional, friendly and prompt service. If in doubt about what a groomer can do for your pupper... no need to hesitate here! I won't go anywhere else ;) Thank you from myself and Mushka!

I took my 14 year old Shih-Tzu to Shake A Paw Pet Grooming for the first time.They were ABSOLUTELY amazing and did a great job on my baby girl. We been to many groomers in the past 14 years( all over in BC) as she gets groomed every 2-3 months. These guy are definitely in my top 3.I highly recommend it. They were very professional and my littlie old lady came home very Happy. THANK YOU !!!!!
