Motorino (Citta)
I’ve been meaning to write this review for some time. As each time I’ve been in Motorino Citta it feels more like home. It’s a very friendly/inviting atmosphere. The cooks give lots of love to the food. We’re mostly brunch people & the brunch is outstanding. Both Italian Benedict &, French toast is amazing. They do wonderful Americanos/lattes. 5$ Mimosa’s are always eye catching & help create a winning weekend if you’re out & looking for something a little extra.

Exceptional pizzas and great owner. You can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu; the octopus is well cooked, the rice balls are great and the olives were tastefully delivered. Bread service is exceptional with very nice olive oil. Highly recommended for dine in; well lit and wide open dining space.

Went to Motorino Citti during the Monday happy hour with friends. The service was fantastic, with our server checking on us throughout to provide dipping sauces and refilling our beverages. We tried the lychee-pineapple martini, fried calamari, Tuscan fries, Sweet Pea Arancini, Margherita pizza, and creme brulee. Everything was delicious and presented beautifully, but the attention to small details is what stood out. The complimentary bread was soft and came with roasted garlic to spread and olive oil to dip.  The creme brulee had a truffle of chocolate ganache coated with chococrisp pearls which we all loved. An excellent meal, highly recommended.

Overall a great experience. The food was tasty and I enjoyed everything I had. Pizzas come in two oven styles, and I had a Chiara baked in the Southern Italy style. It comes with a green salad in the center that helps balance it out. We shared an order of polpette, which had that punch of nutmeg that's characteristic of the dish and I like it a lot. The only comment is it was a bit dense, but nothing that bothered me.I was also very happy with my gin cocktail, as it was very refreshing and the dehydrated cucumber ribbons certainly elevated the taste profile.

Motorino (Citta) in Toronto is a gem of an Italian restaurant that offers a delectable and sophisticated dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that is accentuated by the restaurant's chic décor and welcoming staff. The menu at Motorino (Citta) is a testament to the quality of Italian cuisine that Toronto has to offer. Every dish is prepared with fresh ingredients, expertly crafted to perfection. The starters, including the tantalizing arancini and the mouth-watering calamari, set the tone for a fantastic meal. But the true star of the menu is the pizza. Motorino (Citta) specializes in Neapolitan-style pizza that is cooked to perfection in a wood-fired oven. The crust is crispy and airy, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. The margherita pizza, a classic Italian staple, is a must-try, with its tangy tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil leaves. The pistacchio e salsiccia pizza, with its unique blend of pistachio pesto and spicy sausage, is a delightful surprise that will leave your taste buds singing. The pasta dishes at Motorino (Citta) are equally impressive, with each dish showcasing the restaurant's commitment to using only the freshest ingredients. The spaghetti alla carbonara is a standout, with its perfectly al dente pasta, creamy egg sauce, and crispy bacon bits. The wine list at Motorino (Citta) is extensive, featuring a wide selection of Italian wines that perfectly complement the menu. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, offering expert recommendations to help you find the perfect wine to accompany your meal.Overall, Motorino (Citta) is a must-visit for anyone looking for a sophisticated and delicious dining experience. I love that this place is around the corner from me and that the food is fantastic! I’ve dined in and had take out several times. The servers are always extremely friendly and the food delicious. The pizza is excellent, the dough light and airy and sweet. The arancini are delicious, as is the sauce ! Highly recommend!

Good vibes on a Thursday night with live music, but the food was just ok.The house bread was really good as they gave roasted garlic which was a first for me. We split a bottle of wine amongst 4 and I ordered the Commisso pizza as recommended by our server and it was a bit bland compared the other pizzas my friends ordered.Would not return or recommend as I think there are better options for pizza like Cafe Oro di Napoli down the street.
