Fairmont Palliser

Very nice hotel for the price. However it is a hold historic hotel downtown and the rims do not have a view. Also our room was next to the room service closet and they were very loud. This reinforced that you should ask questions and inspect your room.

We had an extremely disappointing experience with the room service. At about 10 pm, we requested for toothpaste to be sent to our room in a dental kit, but the delivery never made it. The next morning, we reported the issue and were assured that someone would deliver it immediately. Unfortunately, an hour has passed and no one has shown up yet.

Afternoon tea review: Truly the BEST afternoon tea in Calgary. Yes, it costs more than most, but it is worlds away from anything else you'll find in the city -- from the tea selections (divine!), to the delectable desserts and savories. The presentation is superb -- everything looks so pretty and beautiful. And, of course, you have the most amazing service at the Fairmont -- our server, Julie, was superb and made my birthday celebration a memorable one. Thank you, Julie - you are the best!

I contacted the Palliser to host a bridal shower in April 2023 for my daughter. I emailed the events Manager Nicole. Nicole was very helpful, kept me informed, reviewed everything to ensure the bridal shower was successful. I was very impressed with her service and always ready to answer any of my questions. I would not hesitate to use Nicole for booking your next event. She was excellent. Thank you for successful bridal shower. The hotel is beautiful. The menu for the lunch was excellent and the pastry chef created a beautiful cake that I gave a picture to copy.

We stayed here for 2 nights for our wedding and it was disappointing. We were given a room with a view directly facing the other side of the building and were put on a busy floor. Additionally, all the hotel did to saycongratulations was give us a coupon for one drink. Overall it just didnt feel like a special place to stay for our wedding night and we wished we stayed somewhere else. I’m sure there are other hotels in Calgary that would provide a bit of customer service to make a stay special for special occasions.

Staff welcomes were exceptional. Room service was quick and efficient. Pool and Hot tub was relaxing. Our sleep was comfortable and quiet. Had a little trouble with pulling up shower knob could be due to my own arthritis. All in all can’t wait to return thanks once again.

This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be let down.This really is all about the staff. The cleaning staff did such an amazing job. My husband and I really noticed the small things they did to tidy up that we've never seen anywhere else. Also the wait staff in the restaurant made the experience so personable. We were very impressed by the level of service! Great job!
