I just completed the Fire fighter Flex program from ESA last week and had the time of my life! Everyone at ESA is so helpful from the instructors to admin staff, everyone has your back! The instructors are full of experience and knowledge to spread and the admin staff are so quick with responses and so friendly! I recommend ESA to anyone considering a career in Fire or EMS!!

I have done ESA's Fire, EMR, and PCP programs. The programs were great, the instructors are awesome and very knowledgeable. The staff is really friendly, helpful, and always willing to answer any questions. I have had a great experience in my time at ESA.

I was a student in the ESA Professional Firefighter Enhanced Program August 2021. From the very beginning ESA staff have been professional and extremely helpful. The admin staff made registration and enrolment a seamless process and organized everything in Vermillion for live fire training very well, to the point that students were able to simply show up and focus on learning and not have to worry about logistics. Throughout the program the instructors were very knowledgable and helpful. This program demanded the best from everyone but also delivered the best. I cannot recommend ESA enough to anyone looking to pursue a career in emergency services.

Emergency services academy is an outstanding institute. I took my Emergency Medical Responder and Primary Care Paramedic through ESA and I still wouldn’t have chosen anywhere else to go. The instructors are very knowledgeable, their always willing to help and it’s nice having instructors who are currently in the field. ESA always makes sure you are doing your best and will help you achieve any goals you have. ESA prepares you for practicum and the EMS field. I wouldn’t go anywhere but ESA and I would recommend this school to everyone and anyone.

I loved ESA. The instructors were excellent and had tons of life experience to share making the content they were teaching easier to remember. It's an intense course but they really help you out in order to be successful.

One of the best things about ESA is that the instructors are current EMS professionals who come in to instruct on their time off. They are passionate about the work, know a ton and have very high expectations.On top of that the admin staff are incredibly helpful and wonderful people, knowing each student by name and taking a genuine interest in who they are.I can't recommend ESA enough.

I just recently graduated from the ESA Enhanced Fire Program (ESA 2203) as Class President and it was one of the best experiences of my life. From the wide breadth of knowledge being taught from current high ranking firefighters and Fire Chiefs within the community to the incredible classmates I met during my time at ESA, I highly recommend this institution. The access to amazing fire training facilities and equipment in Vermillion was a huge bonus to helping me become the best firefighter I can be. The relationships I made, both with classmates and the instructors, will extend far beyond the classroom walls of ESA and last a lifetime. I learned many intangible leadership and practical skills while attending this program. I am 100% confident I made the right decision in choosing ESA for my Pre-Service fire schooling.

I started my journey with ESA by taking the EMR course then furthering my education and taking the Fire flex program. ESA has an outstanding staff and various skilled instructor that will take the time and teach every student the right path to success. Both the medical and fire portion of the courses were outstanding and knowing the other courses that ESA teaching is definitely something im considering on taking in the near future.

I went to ESA during the summer of 2022 and I could not have chosen a better school to attend. Everyone at ESA were amazing and created a great atmosphere to grow and learn. Having instructors from different departments allowed me to gain valuable insight on what it means and takes to be a firefighter. I would highly recommend ESA to anyone interested in becoming a firefighter!
