Sometimes the river levels are low and you can pick a dry spot to be closer to the river.

It is very pretty. Of course it is now too cold for me to sit in the rapids. Surprisingly the water also seems rather high for this time of year.In the summer and in a warm fall, you can sit almost anywhere in the rapids and feel like you are in a jacuzzi! However, you couldn't do that today as the water is too high and thus the rapids are too fast and therefore slippery and dangerous!They have made some improvements since I was last there - maybe 2 or 3 years ago?! They now have some nice steps to better go down and up the mountain and some benches and it was definitely more cleaner than I remember it. An improved parking lot as well. Very scenic and relaxing!

You can sot, relax, bbq, eat, ... at riverside. Very beautiful site. Free parking lots available. Lots of sitting area on the rocks beside the river. We were looking for Rawdon riverside parcs, they were costly and very busy, we ended up here, which was free, quite, and very nice.

No words can describe this place. Please respect nature and dont leave your garbage. Wonderfull place for meditation.
