Horseblock Point Cottages

Me and my friends had the best experience at horseblockpoint cottages, we were there aug 12 to 14 ,occupied 3 cottages,we had the cottage 4,which is so cozy and had everything you need,it was our 1st time and we're already book for next summer!!!! Carlos is the best!!! He made sure we got everything we needed when we got there and made sure we're settled. Thanks Carlos!!!

We stayed in Cottage 7 for the weekend. Great value, incredible views. Carlos is amazing, he went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable!

Beautiful and peaceful place with the convinient of close by town which one can get basically everything. The cottages are cosy. The view is awesome. Kayaking is perfect here. The maintenance, Carlos is very friendly and helpful. We plan returning here every year for our vacation.

a friend of mine and I have been here twice within one month. We stay at cottage #1 , it has the most spectacular view. The cottage is clean and well kept. Carlos is an amazing person. You can see he genuinely loves what he does. He is always there for a friendly chat and is the man you go to when you need something. We will definitely be coming back!!!

We were here this past weekend and occupied cottage #2. We are a family of 2 adults and 1 infant and it was perfect. The cottages sits on a large area owned by the owners, and our cottage had a perfect water frontage. The cottages are located a bit away from the highway reducing any noise.View - GreatLocation - Easily accessible, quick 10-15 min drive from Gananoque downtown. The donwtown has Tim Hortons, MC-D, Metro, No-Frills etc., bunch of restaurants. We tried Milano for pasta and pizza and they were great. ($$)Cleanliness - No complaints and was goodFriendly owner, dealt with Jennifer and she was prompt on all our e-mail communication. An above 5 star service from cottage manager Carlos. He was very friendly and insisted that we can call him any time of the day or night no matter what the issue was. Though i didn't have any specific situation to call, he was prompt when i called him to notify that i arrived and when i let him know i have vacated the place. It was a pleasure to deal with him.Prices are comparable to other cottages but we had got a better rate as it was off season.Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the place and we will be back.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Horseblock Point in August 2012, and we are so glad we did. Cozy, beautiful cottages nestled perfectly on the water. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and even came to check on our stay with a glorious group of kids. It was so sweet to have such a welcome.

Modest, old cottages but with all the necessities. Lots of woods to walk in. All have cooking facilities and private outdoor areas but cottages are very close together. Small beach/ dock to swim off. Kayak rentals. Good help from Carlos available 24/7

We've been going to the Horseblock point cottages for the last three years now and will definitely continue going back. The cottages are perfectly situated in between Toronto and Montreal and compared to other cottages in the area, these are more secluded and hidden from the road and one another so you feel really cozy. The 1000 islands area is gorgeous and the view from the cottages is beautiful! The owners are super friendly and responsive and Carlos, who welcomes you to the cottages and is there for any inquiries and the kayak rentals is super nice too!Surprisingly the mosquito situation isn't bad at all most probably because the cottages are almost right on the water, which is a big plus. Light pollution is also minimal so on a clear night you can see the Milky Way :). I think cottage #8 could be even cuter with some solar string lights over the picnic table, but other than that, we love the place and keep on renting it for our family gatherings and I keep on recommending it to all my friends :D

Nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay. Prompt and easy communication with Jen by email and phone from beginning. We stayed in cottage #1 which was very private and had a spectacular view from all windows and the porch. Very clean and comfy. Swimming in the river was accessible pretty much right from our doorstep. Carlos, the maintenance manager was the greatest- very friendly and welcoming as well as informative. Already looking to book our next stay!

A great place to stay with great prices and sunset view you don’t want to miss. I will definitely come here for the next trip to thousand islands. Carlos is the best guy who will help you whenever you need!!!!
