I was intrigued by the two appetizers bone marrow with escargots and the grilled octopus, both did not disappoint. I ordered the pork chop and it came almost medium rare, the server replaced it promptly. I will definitely come back to Monarque next time I am in Montreal.

Great ambience, amazing food and cocktails and over the top service. “THE” happening place in historic Montreal - make sure it’s on your itinerary. I recommend table seating. In the bar area for a livelier experience. The formal dining room and more for degustation menu style dining.

We went for my wife's bday tonight. Everything was awesome! Food was good. Not one single plate let me down. Vegetable were really match on each plate. They grilled and cooked perfectly. Cocktail was on fire! I definitely will try more 2 next time.And I had the best service since 2022-now.Everyone there were super friendly.And the manager, oh gosh, he spoke from his heart, and I could feel it. When he saw you eating happy, he smiled truly. I mean, 2023, who cares about you anymore.If you wanna be happy, please go there!

Nice fancy French restaurant. Well hidden at the Montreal Old port and the interior is very cozy. You feel you have teleported to Europe in a different time. Lots of tables, friendly staffs and delicious food. The menu has a lot of choices and the food is well presented.

This is another one of those special dining experiences that combines excellent food, a beautiful dining room and exceptional service from the moment you walk in the door until and after you pay the bill. Excellent drink recommendations and very helpful with our food choices. Highly recommended!

I went here for a group event. The waiters were super attentive and it was a very nice evening. I loved the food from the menu we got. All the dishes were delicious. I really recommend the restaurant for group events. It was perfect.

Food and environment was amazing! The appetizer foie gras parfait was on the bitter side but perfect for my liking as it paired really well with the bread. The lamb I ordered was cooked to perfection and really tender. My friend’s duck confit was also well seasoned and juicy. I didn’t know this prior to visiting but apparently the restaurant has two sets of menus and on the day we went which was a weekend they only served one menu, so make sure you check on their website for details. Overall great experience! Would love to go back for the other menu

Beautiful place and not *too* expensive. The portions are a little small, but still reasonably priced for the quality. The ravioli pictured is considered an appetizer but I ordered it as my meal. I did wish I got a full meal after finishing it as it was small but it was an appetizer so it makes sense. Drinks are amazing. Service was great, very friendly. I only give it 4 stars for service as they did forget a few things (every time we ordered a cider they forgot about it which was a bit strange, happened 2 times) but it was quite a busy spot so it’s excusable. The little butterfly accents were adorable.

Went with a group for an anniversary party in a private room downstairs.I was expecting small food portions accompanied by exorbitant prices. But I have to say I was proved wrong - their portions were satisfactory, but more importantly the exquisite quality and refined flavours of their dishes is what really made it special.Service was also flawless. With the rustic ambience of a wine cellar (along with a plethora of wine options), it all came together for a very pleasant experience.

Love the trendy vibe and surprised how large the restaurant is. Fantastic service and a good wine selection.The food was delicious and you can see what we ate but honestly everything was scrumptious. We left with a smile on our faces and this a perfect spot for date night.
