K & D Towing

Shawn picked us up off of the interstate. Compared to roadside assistance I have received before, he got there pretty quick. He was very nice, tried to help us any way that he could, helped find someone to fix our car, helped us find a parts store. He was honestly very great! He got us in with great people as well for car issue. The only reason I didn’t rate 5 is because expensiiive!!! $75 for hook up, $7 a mile. Then again .. we weren’t stuck for hours on the interstate either, and we were fortunate enough to get a very helpful tow guy.

I was heading home from Fargo on I94 when I unfortunately ran over something quite large with huge spikes sticking out of it , needless to say I blew a tire and damaged another . I called K & D and they were very friendly on the phone , I was about 10 miles out of Jamestown and they were there within 15 min . The owner and his son showed up first in his personal vehicle and tow truck came shortly after , they loaded me up and he gave me a ride (in personal vehicle) to a tire store where he had already called ahead and told them the situation as it was almost closing time . He also gave me information to assist me with dealing with the tire store , which was very thoughtful and appreciated and he said to call him back if I had any troubles there. I saw others posted he was “expensive” to be honest I didn’t care , I wanted off the interstate and my tires fixed , when he gave me my bill I didn’t bat an eye , I don’t know what a tow off interstate should be but I thought it was a fair price!! They were fast , kind , courteous, and made me feel safe and if I’m in trouble again they are the only place I’d call !!!Thank you so much for taking great care of me !!Tonia

Horribly priced, but even worse customer service. I called them today to inquire why a bill was so high. I was greeted by a very grumpy gentleman who just repeatedly said this is our price". When I asked if he could just explain to me how he got to that price

Joe charged $$$$ for pulling a car out of snow which was slightly slid off the road shoulder in front of Farmer's Union, and Joe damaged the rim and threatened the owner.Joe, you damaged the car so that the poor man could not go anywhere, and had to stay on the road in this extremely cold night for over 12 hours, 2000km away from his home.

I called to get my granddaughter’s car started at Jamestown University. The temperatures were very cold. K&D responded promptly and started her car for her. The K&D representative was kind, courteous and helpful to my granddaughter and I appreciate it very much! I highly recommend them for any of the services they provide! I thank them sincerely for the manner in which they treated my granddaughter!

My vehicle broke down on the interstate today, Christmas Eve. I called K&D and Billy came to get me and my 3 kids right away. He took us to his house since there wasn’t anywhere open to wait for my husband to come and get us. Phenomenal service!! Him and his family fed us dinner and treated us like family. The two guys that came to deliver fuel to me were fast and polite! Made sure to follow us to the gas station where I was able to pay them with a card instead of cash only. They were very nice guys!

My car broke down on the interstate outside Jamestown and I called them. They were sending someone to get me when I tried starting my car again and it started! I called them back and he said to just drive into town and he'll let a mechanic shop know I was coming. He didn't charge me anything and he wanted me to call back after I saw the mechanic just so he knew I would be ok. I never even met the guy but he was so helpful amd I'm thankful I chose to call him.

My daughter and I were stranded outside of Jamestown late one night and I called K & D towing and within 25 min the wrecker was there to pick us up and got us safety to a hotel and fixed our car right away in the morning and got us right back to car and back on the road. Very reasonable rates, very friendly service, and were prompt to pick us up and to get car fixed and us back on the road so we didn’t have to wait long, highly recommend!

it's not a regular business. They damage your car and blackmail you. This was happened last night at Medina. Joe was supposed to help, but he broke the car and threatened the customer. The boss, Bill, as he claimed, simply cut you off when you ever try to call them.If you want to enrich your life experience and see a dark and ugly side of our society, K & D definitely will go to extreme of what you can imagine.
