Village Inn

This is my first stay and I came for a business trip. The rooms are lovely and clean ... extremely clean, which I very much appreciate. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, right in the middle of town near everything. I will definitely be back.

Lovely spot! Everything was very new and clean. Someone put a little extra thought into the design, making it vary cozy and airy. Definitely the best hotel we’ve stayed in for a long time. Staff also super friendly. No drinks or snacks on premises (I think due to covid), but there’s a great all night grocery store just steps away. Highly recommended!

Stayed here about 8 times. It is always reliable. Rooms are kept clean and updated as well. Spacious and close to all amenities. I will say that I miss the unpretentious pub they used to have on the main floor. It felt like the real deal and was so great hopping out of your room to grab something without leaving the hotel. Staff is always helpful and accommodating. And the impression I am left with is that they are focused on making your stay comfortable.

Excellent place to stay invery cleanstaff very friendly. I would like to thank them very much for the support duo to the storm that happened in Peterborough area. me and the family came asking for a room so we can take a shower because we have no power do to the storm they let take a shower free of charge. I definitely recommend that place

Surprised my s/o with a night at the Village Inn during the summer of 2020. We were impressed by the health and safety practices in place, from the front desk to the toiletries in the rooms. They provided forms detailing the safety measures and cleaning practices, and we felt they rang true. We could tell that renovations must have taken place recently, the hardwood floors were beautiful and made us feel extra safe. We had a balcony room on the top floor and we enjoyed a lovely glass of wine up there. They offered complimentary breakfast that you can order and pick up from the front desk, however we decided to have brunch at the Vanilla Bean Cafe next door. The price for the room was a bit high but understandable (especially during a pandemic), plus the value of the experience balances out. Very happy with our stay and will definitely be back when we need a mini stay-cation!

Great staff. Dog friendly. Clean, fridge, microwave. Town is sleepy at 9.

We were able to reserve a room (#109) last minute for the long holiday weekend on July 29th, 2022. What we got was the cleanest, nicest room we have ever stayed in! My Wife and I were very pleased. It was the King Executive suite complete with bathrobes, Glass glasses, and dinnerware for 2. Our room was roadside, yet it was very quiet. Other than hearing an Ambulance twice, we heard nothing else. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Nice Hotel for Lakefield. I went there during Covid, so no room service at all. The breakfast was expensive for the really standard quality. Hotel employees were all very nice. Meeting room is ok, but the wifi was not perfect for 10+ people. Overall a nice stay.
