Art Lounge Mtl Cafe

Espace Art Lounge is warmly welcoming. Since January 2018 we have been using the space once a month for the lawn chair soiree, an evening of spoken word and music, and everyone who attends is pleased with the atmosphere and service. They provide tasty and healthy soups, salads, and sandwiches plus delicious desserts in a space that is filled with an eclectic array of art. It is definitely a place dedicated to the arts: culinary, visual, musical, and literary.

We held an event at this venue and overall it was a success, however our dealings with the owner left a sour taste in our mouths. At best he was disorganised at worst foul tempered. It’s unfortunate because the venue has a lot of potential. The rest of the staff were friendly and professional, the food was delicious and the price was reasonable. All of our attendees had a great time and had many positive things to say…except about the owner. His rudeness and unprofessionalism was noticed by everyone there. In my opinion, he should not be working with the public and should hire a manager as it appears to me like he has issues dealing with people. Unfortunately, due to poor treatment we received, I would not recommend this space for events.

Great food, great vibes. Hosted a few events there and Nino, the owner, has always been real charm. A real creative and human spot!

Very disappointing and unprofessional booking experience with the worst internal communication ever, which caused our show that had been booked 4 months ahead of time to be canceled three weeks before the scheduled date.Montreal artists, you don't want to perform/expose there.Plus, their staff changes every two months because no one seems to want to work there for more than 2 months...

We celebrated the launch of our first print issue at Art Lounge last November and we can't wait to do it again for issue 02 this June! Nino and his team were so welcoming and helpful, and the space had the perfect vibe and dimensions for what we needed (readings, dj performances and exhibition). We were moved by Nino's genuine and authentic interest in arts and new projects in the Montreal scene. Good drinks and food too (we had good vegetarian bouchées for the launch party)! A place we totally recommend for events, gatherings, or just little hang outs :)

We Love so much this place my wife and I, every time we eat there or attend an event; the experience is unparalleled! such a unique place! thank you!

Opening on Sept. 15th. Art Lounge MTL is an amazing mix of an art space, cafe, art bookstore, restaurant and a great venue for corporate, social & music happenings.

Amazing place to visit and present exhibitions.Not only is it a chill out spot to enjoy a nice coffee and food with the most amazing staff, it's also a perfect place to present an exhibition or organize an event. I did a book launch with an exhibition at Art Lounge and it was a great success and a very smooth process with everyone over there.I will most definitely organize other artistic events here!

Good chill out place with cool music, mixed crowd and great vibes.Love the laid back atmosphere and the food. The Montreal sandwich was so yummy (grilled veggies with walnuts and honey).The staff was extremely friendly. Will be back..
