My first experience in trying to get information, buy pool chemicals and test kit was terrible. The woman who “helped” me was all attitude and didn’t seem interested in assisting me in purchasing the items I needed. I will NOT be returning to this location. No excuse for poor service and being extremely rude during the beginning of your main selling season.

Surfside has always been great to deal with since they installed our pool in 2007. Never had an issue with the water testing and recommended chemicals.

Surfside did a decent job on the pool, but in under 18months the patio stone around the pool started to move. We had a our local landscaper look at it and was told it was moving because before they laid the stone they used very little gravel and the whole patio needed to be redone.I called Rick and surfside in April 2015 and he sent his foreman to look at. Foreman agreed it needed this repair and as it was under warranty then surfside would do the work. Rick sent us an email saying at that time they were very busy and it would be 2 weeks until they could do the work.We were ok with this, but after a month we contacted Rick again. He refused to return phone calls or emails. Finally we got hold of him again and he fluffed us off again saying he was too busy. 5 more emails/phone calls and August first today, he still has not contacted us to do the repair.Simply put as soon as they have your money say goodbye1

I had the pool installed a few years ago and while they were great to work with for the pre-installation and installation, as soon as something went wrong, it took YEARS to get it fixed. I originally chose Surfside given their number of years in service, As has been stated in other reviews, as soon as something went wrong, they simply stopped responded as if they expected that I would just go away. I did not go away. They finally fixed the issue but it literally took years. I would not recommend this company.

We inherited Surfside from the previous owner and we now have been using them for the past 6 years to open up and close our pool. Steve and company always do a great job and are there for us if there is ever an issue. Great guys to deal with.

Rick Jull failed to fix his mistakes - and did EXACTLY as The Limey commented below. Surfside completely renovated my pool including a new set of stairs, and stamped patterned concrete around entire pool. Their selected concrete supplier failed to tarp stairs when doing concrete work, and the sealer actually leached down and discoloured the stairs which now look absolutely horrible. Contacted Rick numerous times, he agreed to fix it (admitted it was his issue) but never showed up. Countless promises that he failed to deliver on, then stopped returning phone calls and emails. Pathetic customer service to say the least, and extremely frustrated customer. Do yourself a favour, and go with a different pool company for anything other than a water sample.

So often, we as consumers, do not take the time to acknowledge great service. Unfortunately we are guilty of that as it relates to Robert and the gang at Surfside. We purchased our Jacuzzi hot tub five years ago through Robert (sales manager). We appreciated his honesty, high level of service, and knowledge of both his product offerings and the competition. Also Robert sold us on the fact that service and support does not end at the sale, and being our first tub purchase that was really important. We did shop around with several reputable dealers, however returned to Surfside as they have the best product and service offering.Here we are five years later and Robert & Surfside keeps exceeding our expectations. Jacuzzi is a great product, reliable and with outstanding filtration. Our guests are constantly remarking on how crystal clear the water is, and wonder why their other friends tubs do not exhibit the same high level of performance. Additionally the few times over the years we did require servicing Steve was over very promptly and fixed any issues we may have had. We found Steve both very knowledgeable and competent in servicing our Jacuzzi system.Overall, if you are looking for a great hot tub experience with the assurance of support long after the sale, you should give Surfside Newmarket your consideration. While we are a little slow in our feedback, thank you Robert, Steve and the entire Surfside team for great support, service and making us very satisfied customers.Alex & Rosanne, Mount Albert

Surfside has been opening, closing, cleaning and servicing my pool for 15 years. I've always received excellent service.

Great service when you can actual get there before they close... what pool store closes at 5:00pm throughout the week?!?!
