Doggy Go Go

We have worked with Renee for years - our first dog (Mara) had major anxiety issues and was not good with people or other dogs. With patience and continuous socialization, through Renee, Mara benefited greatly and we saw her grow in her comfort level around people and other dogs. When Mara passed away suddenly Renee was impacted as deeply as we were. She had developed a loving relationship with Mara and it was a huge loss for all of us because Mara was not just a customer or a dog. She was part of the Renee's pack.She has been walking Lola, our new dog for almost 4 years now and I have never seen Lola jump up with excitement for anyone the way she does when Renee opens the door. Lola loves her dearly and loves their daily walks and interaction with other canine friends. When Lola was not well we went to a vet 3 times and they took money and did nothing for her. Renee spent her own money and ordered special vitamins and supplements that helped Lola recover quickly. Our sweet girl is back to herself again, thanks to Renee.In all the years we have worked with Renee I can vouch for her consistent professionalism, care for our pets and commitment to do the right thing.I know she has had to be firm from time to time when the situation calls for it. I trust her to make the right decisions and to manage potentially dangerous situations using her judgement and experience. She always communicates when there has been a challenge or issue in the park, which I really appreciate.I strongly recommend Renee for anyone who wants their dog to be treated with respect and love. She isn't just any dog walker. She is one in a million because she truly loves them like her own.

We have used Doggy Go Go on several occasions for boarding and each time, have been extremely impressed with the care our little Millie has received. It's difficult to leave your pet with someone else, but Renee kept us assured of Millie's well-being with constant updates, and it was so nice to see pictures posted on Facebook of Millie enjoying herself. So reassuring. Renee is truly a Dog Whisperer! Highly recommend!

Short version: I engaged in Renee’s services at Doggy gogo. I gave her my key and within hours she texted me to tell me she lost it. My dog was left without the care and I incurred cost totaling $125 replace the FOB she lost along with my key as well as the cost of getting my lock changed.Long version: I needed someone to check in on my new puppy and after finding Doggy Gogo online and reading some reviews, I called Renee to request a meet and greet. I had some reservations based on that initial conversation, but she had great reviews and I checked her out online. She’s bonded and she has been doing this for a while and I was in a bind. When Renee met with me and my pup it was clear that she really cares for animals and I felt comfortable that she would take care of my little guy. I gave Renee a key to my home along with a FOB to my building. A couple hours later I received a text from Renee telling me that she lost my key and FOB. I had to take the day off work the next day to get my locks changed and replace the fob she lost. Instead of paying Renee $50 for 2 days of dog walking, I ended up having to take time off work and spend a total of $125 to change my locks and replace the FOB.Renee was very apologetic, and she spent time tracing her steps to search for my key with no luck. When I suggested to her that I thought she should offer to absorb some of the costs I incurred due to her mistake, she got quite defensive and insisted I was being needlessly cautious in changing my locks and refused to contribute to the cost. I was completely stunned by this response. In my experience, business owners genuinely try to correct errors. Not the case at all here. In fact, she told me that if I was a regular customer she would consider it, but I wasn’t so it wasn’t worth her time. I suppose she has all the business she needs and the prospect of a new loyal customer is meaningless to her. At my insistence she agreed to pay for the FOB and told me she mailed a cheque to me. This happened about a month ago. Since then she actually found my key and texted me to alert me that I could go get it myself on a lost and found board at a park she frequents. The park is out of my way and I asked her to drop the FOB/key off to me or mail it to me. She said she had no intention of doing so since she had already send me a cheque for the cost of the FOB. To date, I have not received a cheque or my key back.I waited a month to write this review because I think most people are good and they want to do the right thing. I also understand that mistakes happen. Before writing this review I texted Renee one more time to see if she had bothered to send either… One last chance to make it right. She had no interest in doing so “I don’t know why you didn’t receive the cheque and I don’t understand why you don’t just go get the key yourself”. Renee made it crystal clear that she has absolutely no interest in righting her mistake. I’m sure She is wonderful with animals and I’m sure many of her customers appreciate her service. But I think that how a company or individual behaves when something goes wrong is much more telling then how they behave when things are going to plan. Mistakes happen. How we respond to them speaks volumes and Renee has made it very clear that customer service and integrity simply are not priorities for her.

Renee has been walking our dog for 6 years now. She's reliable, friendly, and really cares about the dogs. Our dog always comes home tired and happy!

I see the Doggy Go Go “pack” daily at Jack Darling and it is clear that she is very caring and passionate about what she does. She treats each dog as her own and cares for their health and well being as much as you do. An outing with Doggy Go Go means care, compassion and energy and I would never hesitate to hire her.
