Chicago Clock Company

Purchased a watch (Christmas present) for my 93-year old mother-in-law else where and had eight links taken out of the stretch band at Chicago Clock Company. Well the watch band would not stretch across her hand, so went back to have them put back in, this time bringing my mother-in-law. Skyler was so patient, kind and informative while assisting us determine that a stretch band would likely not work for her.. He suggested other alternatives and let her try a new clasp. Will definitely be returning for all our clock/watch battery needs. The customer service was exceptional!!!! Thanks Skyler!

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews but our experience with Becky at your store was outstanding.We have a old grandfather clock from my wife’s grandfather that we wanted to get running. She answered all of our questions. Her knowledge was amazing and was able to convey that too us.Thanks again Becky.Great Job

I came here to get my watch batteries changed assuming that I would have to leave them and have them sent out. To my surprise the associate Becky was so nice and said no no we do those while you wait! They change 5 batteries for me while I waited. In what seemed love 10 minutes. Fast service and super nice employees. I will definitely return.

Picked my clock from being serviced last week and I can say it was not the friendliest place. The clock was in repair for almost 6 weeks which I guess is normal. I paid for the service which included a pendulum and key. Got home unwrapped the clock and found that the key was missing. Called them up and the person told me I had to bring the lock back. Brought it back and once again was not a friendly place the clock was brought in the back and they made the key. I asked if they could make a key for the adjustment hole and the sales person told the key has two ends in a condescending sort of way. Also, no apology for having to come back when it was their fault. I felt that My business was not appreciated. I will be in the market for a wall clock in the next year and will be going to a more friendly place with better customer service!

I recently visited Chicago Clock Company and was excited to find an amazing treasure. I was looking for some help with an existing clock that needed some minor repairs. While I was there i saw so many beautiful clocks! I know I will be back soon to purchase one. Becky was able to help me quickly and with a smile. Very happy I stopped in!

Excellent customer service!I had two watches that needed their batteries replaced. I thought It was going to take an hour. The employee quoted me 5 minutes, then did it in 4. He answered every question I had with a smile, even my dumb questions. The cost was less that anticipated, and he even opened the door for me.This place deserves your business!

I've taken two different clocks at different times to this location for repair and both times I've gotten the same response. 'the technician is not comfortable working on this clock for they may damage it. They only seem to work on the easy issues. Not sure when and if they work at all.

Joe did the impossible with the grandfather clock my wife inherited! This thing is who knows how old and it was completely taken apart. But, the pro that Joe is, he put it together and got it chiming! Plus, he was so nice and took the time to show us how it works and all the caveats that come along with owning a grandfather clock.

Couple of years back, I took a wrist watch there to resize the band. First off, they were not nice to me. Secondly, I was told that they would charge me $30 per link of adjustments. How do you explain that type of charges? You adjust the link by sizing the wearer’s wrist and remove the appropriate links at once. No one adjust the band by removing one link at time. We didn’t end up adjusting there obviously. Shady as best. Stay away.
