Skeena was very relaxed and comfortable at her appointment today.

The male vet at this clinic conducted our appointment incredibly unprofessionally. He acted erratic, confused and exasperated. We actually questioned him if he was on some kind of drugs his behaviour was so concerning. It was actually scary and we worried for our dog so we left the appointment without any resolution for our dogs health issues. He stated he was acting so bizarre because he had just been with an aggressive dog. I understand we are all desperate to get our pets health care but this vet should have his license revoked and should be completely ashamed of himself.Edit* for all the pet owners out there. The vets behaviour was bizarre and whether it was from his own trauma or not the way he interacted with our dog terrified her. This post is to warn other potential clients whatthey might encounter.

Exceptional service and a team of sincere, caring professionals, always generous with their time and support. Thank you for taking such excellent care of me and my family! I wouldn't take my cherished animal companions anywhere else. ❤️

Birchwood and their entire staff are amazing. Dr. Bauman in particular was wonderful to deal with. He treated my husband and I with great respect and kindness and was super sweet with our dopey boxer Bailey. Over the years with our animals we’ve seen other vets, who have also been great, but Dr. Bauman really sets the standards for how pet care should be. For anyone with animals who have vet anxiety or are looking for compassionate carers, Dr. Bauman is the one you want.

We've been taking our cats to Dr. Bauman and his associates since they opened. They have their own lab, which will handle most blood and urine work, and the vet techs and associate vets are spectacular. Dr. Bauman is always super conscientious that we know all the options and helps us make the right decisions for our little guys. One of the best vets I've ever had the privilege to meet. You'll be hard pressed to do better.

We had a good first visit with Dr. Bauman. Reception was extremely friendly. Dr. listened very well to our concerns and didn't try to upsell products after explaining the options.

Excellent experiences both times I've been. Very knowledgable Vet. I have taken both my kittens for their vaccines & will be heading back for their Spay & Neuter soon. Friendly staff, clean building and fair prices. I would definitely recommend.
