I “won” a laptop from one of their auctions. It was listed with no power cord. I got a power cord and attempted to fire it up. Absolute dud!This had to have been known to the auction client. I contacted the Headingly office and left a message with the manager. He did not return my call or email. He did not even take the time to discoes any possible solutions or agreement.It’s not difficult to call someone. I have dealt with other auction houses that have a conversation at the very least.Do better.

Was able to get several yard/landscaping items at recent auction. The process was easy, painless and secure. From the opening bid to updates on other bids to the success of winning thr items, I love the ability to bid online.Pick up was a breeze and items were ready to go when I cam to get the next day. I'd have no problem continuing to bid through this company.My advice is to put the max bid you want for the item at the beginning and wait till the end of the auction. It saves time have to recheck emails.

This location has a great manager, Chazz. I was trying to get the on Friday to pick up an item but due to a blizzard, I couldn't. He gladly came in on Saturday to help me load.I would not hesitate to buy here again.

Great friendly staff willing to go the extra to help make your experience positive. If there is a problem they go out of their way to resolve the issue for the customer. I have made numerous purchases from McDougall Auctioneers and have always received great service and good products. I will definitely continue to follow their auctions and will continue to purchase from them.

I have been a rookie customer now for over a year and enjoy going online and using the very easy to use and navigate platform the McDougall's has available for it's customers...that goes without saying but the main reason I'm reviewing is a big shout out to Chazz and Nanda!! for their incredibly genuine and caring customer service to me last night when picking up my item. I had inadvertently locked my keys in my car just before Tuesday night closing time and realizing that when I was leaving I went back inside frustrated and thinking the worst thinking I need to use the phone. However Nanda quickly checked to see if she had something to help me get into my car and asked her co-worker Chazz to see if he could help. After searching for anything that might help without success he ended up driving home to get his tools. Nanda had stayed with me so I wouldn't freeze outside last night until Chazz returned came back and him and I spent over an hour attempting to get into my car. After an hour or so we realized it was futile so Chazz offered to drive me to my place to get my extra set of car keys, then drove me back to the shop. Refused to take any money for his troubles and through it all we had a great conversation and a renewed appreciation for us hardy Manitobans, Thanks again Nanda and Chazz. A real pleasantly surprising experience from an otherwise frustrating and possibly very costly situation.! 10/10 for McDougall's for having excellent and caring employees a strong indicator of the integrity that resides in the organization. Thanks again from a appreciative and happy customer.

Worst auction experience ever! Bought a semi truck of this auction to resale it. Was a older unit.Once I got the unit home found a buyer and the buyer was very Intrested. He ended up doing a lien search on the unit, turned out there is a lien on the truck. I called left message after message finally talked to someone there they promised to take care of it. Couple days later no changes and now the buyer backed out of the deal! Never buying anything at this auction again!

Very disappointing experience. Purchased a large commercial cooler recently using the online auction. Unfortunately it was not mentioned that the cooler would not fit though the door and needed to be lifted over a counter to be removed, which Mcdougall rep knew prior to the auction. Drove two hours and ended up leaving the cooler there as had no way of lifting such a large item with only two men.

This is the worst auction I have ever seen.They keep changing the deadline. If you are interested in a few different items, you can’t plan for nothing because the dead line keeps changing and they are just waisting my time

Don't buy through their online auction they will break the item then be like well you bought it". I bought a stove and the guy in the loading area ripped off parts and tried to lie."
