Great customer service ! Bought a St. Croix last year and broke it on Bass Opener 2017. I brought the rod to the store (even with no receipt) and the boss said nothing but helped with mailing the rod and then replaced a new one after couple of weeks with no cost (except the shipping fee). Great customer service!

Colin is polite and so are the employees. They have a good variety and fair prices. If they don’t have what you are looking for they will try to get what you need.

I am 62 years old and I have been dealing exclusively with Kingsway Sports. I moved to Guelph in 1997 and I recently moved back to Niagara Falls. I stopped at another fishing store looking for an Ugly Stik for my sons birthday. I won't name the store because they are still in business..I asked the owner for a 9 ft Ugly stik and he tried to convince me that they stopped making them and the pole he tried to sell me was a Rhino rod. I knew that he was lying so I just left. I went to a phone booth and looked up fishing stores in Guelph. I found Kingsway and I explained to Gerry the owner at the time what the other store did to me. Just for a sale. Gerrymandering gave me directions to get to his store and I took the bus there. He had the Ugly stik in stock and I purchased it along with a reel for my son. What he did next was what made me a loyal customer for a long time. I told him I had to ship it to Sault Saint Marie. Gerrymandering then went to the back of the store and found a box that would hold the rod and reel. He then crushed up newspaper and stuffed it until the box was full and the rod and reel wouldn't get damaged. That was in 1997 and I dealt w him until he went for a back operation and ended up being filled with cancer. He was a really good person and an even better friend. Hisson Collin and his wife still run the store and they are great people. Even though I don't live in Guelph anymore I still keep in touch. The atmosphere in the store is great and if you want a place to go talk fishing they will make you feel right at home. I miss.him as a good friend . What I just wrote comes straight from the heart. He was a good man and now if you decide to visit the store you will be treated great by his son and his wife.Sincerely John Frazser

Awesome experience today. Took a recommendation from a local in the area to check out the store. Awesome staff and great quality/variety of products for all kinds of fishing. Was very impressed with the pricing in the store. So much that we walked out with 2 brand new islander reels. Thanks guys for your service. I know who to call next time I need anything

If the store isn't crazy busy, the owner will give you unparalleled advice and learning info. He has always been extremely patient and helpful with me as a newer angler. I cannot recommend this shop enough. Very fair prices as well!

Trash never has live bait(minnows in specific) stock is super low on all terminal tackle and lures store has ran down since the store was handed to Colin after his dad passed

these guys are great.Steve u must have had a bad experience. i have dealt with these guys for 15-20 years and never had a bad experience. these guys all of them including the ones that are no longer with us have always provided me with advise whenever asked, in fact I have fishing rods delivered to my door at no extra cost. i always treat people with respect and in return i get respect back. i don't know the situation at the time but i guarantee that this is very unusual for this to happen.If you where to go back and let them know your issues I am sure you will be treated fair. A business is there to make a profit however you should always ask questions before you make a decision on a purchase. I PERSONALLY feel bad for your experience but please don't fault a company on one bad experience.
