South Coast Paintball - Brighton

Necessary Edit: 3 years ago we’ve been there.No protection besides a dirty old helmet. An extremely rude, bearded chubby guy was working as a marshall. He pointed a loaded paintball gun at me unnecessarily in training.Watching him was like to see a terrible war movie actor. Probably he’s a soldier wannabe. Probably all of us were foreigners he showed his hate clearly.When we complained about him, the manager told us that “I cannot know what he did there”At least the manager refunded our payment.Definitely I don’t recommend it because that kinds of creatures can work there.

Big up to Taylor and the team. Best paintball ever. Only downside, no bayonet charges allowed. Get a hotdog after. Mines a mustard hotdog. Yours can be whatever you want it to be. They have mustard AND ketchup. Does anyone know how to get back to Brighton? There's a bus apparently. Shouts out to Taylor and the team. No Amex

My son had his 12th birthday here yesterday and it was great. The staff and the venue are both great. They kindly encourage all the kids not to use all their paintballs in the first game (But of course some of them did) and were very helpful to all the kids. 100% recommend.

Games were relatively funToo many players in each game. 40+ and the areas for the games were quite smallPaintballs are way too expensive £9 ish for 100 balls which you can easily go through in half a round considering there’s 20+ people to shoot atGuns had no accuracy so just pure luck to hit anyoneWorst part for me. If you wear glasses you cannot go. They have no alternative to the tiny masks that squash your glasses and break them so you have to go without. Pay all this money to not be able to see. All they need is different masks for people with glassesMarshall’s need to keep track a little better. The amount of cheating with people not claiming when they have been shot and not going out. When I was shot and put my hand up I continued to be shot 5+ timesEDIT - not sure how or if I can respond to the owners response. I asked about 3 staff including at the kit stall for a different mask for glasses and was told there was nothing

We had a great afternoon here. They're not overly expensive, and no push to buy grenades/smoke. The staff were friendly and helpful. The marshals explained the concept of each game clearly, and ours (at least) gave some advice on tactics. They're very definite about being safety orientated, with a more thorough briefing than I've known before. Will certainly be back.

Really good afternoon Paint balling. We all had fun. However The base camp area is very tired and you can't even buy a cup of Tea it's quite expensive to buy Paint balls. Worst thing of the day. The visors even with fog wipes and just a t shirt on didn't stop the misting up. Lots of plus points and a fair few negative points. Would go again. They should supply better visors. Not hire them

Harry Tilley was a great instructor, really enjoyed the day. Very clear instructions and fair with the rules.

Came for a stag do this weekend. Was a fun day though for the last 3 rounds I couldn’t see out of my visor due to the paint that had got on it and dried. The staff I told said he would sort it out but fobbed me off so I was falling over myself, unable to see for a good 45 minutes, whilst also being told to keep my mask on. At the end of the session I pulled my mask up telling the guy I couldn’t see and didn’t want to trip into people. I didn’t hear it myself but was told by others afterwards he replied saying “I don’t give a damn”. Aside from that the rules were poorly explained (e.g in capture the flag they didn’t say what to do if you’re holding the flag and get shot) so on some games we didn’t know what to do. Good fun regardless

We had a full day paintball and it was brilliant! We had Taylor as our host and he was super great! Please give him our huge thanks!
