Micro-Vision

After having my old gaming PC for around 10 years, I decided it was time for a new one. I used to build desktops however I've been out of it for so long I didn't know where to start. After researching a few online builders, I stumbled across Micro-vision's website. I played around with a couple of builds but didn't really settle on anything. That's when I noticed they were here in Nanaimo. That's when I put things together and recognized the name from their storefront that I have driven by for countless years. I dropped in, had a great conversation with Chris about my needs, how the industry has changed and what to look for. I knew I didn't want to build my own again and decided that indeed Micro-vision was going to be my choice. If you want something custom built, with components you know and have someone with expertise backing you up, look no further. This isn't an off the shelf box store machine. This is something built well, specific to your needs and truly very competitive in terms of price. I know where I'll be going for my next PC when that time comes. I added another drive and they didn't tack on any labour charge for it so that was nice. Added more ram later and there was a good turnaround time for it. Probably going to also upgrade processor further down the road. Another big point in their favour is that they actually know what they're dealing with. The first vendor I went to was Best Buy and they referred my questions to the OEM who made the product and the OEM, on realizing it was a big box" product

I found Micro-Vision through a google search. I did as much online research as I could. They seemed Ok, but it's always a risk. I wanted a high-powered machine built for intensive AI/Stock trading, which would cost about $4000. I need not have worried, I placed the order, next day Alec called me, confirmed specs and provided a delivery date. Machine arrived a week before expected, well packed. I opened it, instructions (stickies) placed carefully on the machine and its components were so good and made set up simple. Machine was to spec and service was way more than I have ever experienced in purchasing a PC. I have always bought from DELL - well I have found DELLs replacement. Way to go Micro-Vision. I am proud to support an amazing Canadian Business!

I purchased a custom built high end video editing computer here about 4.5 years ago. It has worked flawlessly for 4.5 years. However with 5.3k and now 8k videos, I needed an upgrade. I purchased a custom very high end system. Intel i9-13900k processor with 4070Ti GPU, 32GB Ram with 1 TB SN850X SSD. Wow this thing is fast, BUT, the motherboard USB kept causing my USB to stop working. I called Micro Vision, told them the problem, they instantly ordered a different model, higher end motherboard. When it arrived, I dropped off the computer, motherboard was replaced and they even ended up having to replace the Windows 11 Software key due to the new motherboard. This was done same day I dropped it off. The system now works perfectly and wow, this thing renders videos FAST. So much fun to edit videos with the ultimate system. I give them a 10 out of 10 for quality and customer support. No arguing, or asking me to try different things to fix the problem. They just ordered a newer and better Motherboard and FIXED it right away. I'll be buying my next computer here again, probably in about 4 to 5 years. Can't go wrong. The last one is still in use for my Media Room. Good job guys.

Very helpful staff. My son needed a simple cable which they had. We almost bought one off of Marketplace that ended up being the wrong cable. Thankfully we went into the store first. The advice was worth the price of the cable alone. Thank you. We will be back.

After my high end Dell computer failed 3 times, I was fed up. Yes, Dell sent parts, and eventually a new computer, but the stress and time restoring everything was too much. I ordered a custom-made Micro-Vision computer for my radio studio - for a few hundred less than the Dell. Now two years in, everything works, the machine seems a bit faster than the Dell. Solid good build. I highly recommend Micro-Vision.

Several months ago, Micro-Vision built a desktop computer for me, and I could not be more satisfied with the outcome.The machine was built in a Cooler Master NR600 case, with an ASRock Z790 Steel Legend motherboard and Intel i9-13900K CPU.When I began the process of specifying the computer I wanted to purchase, I knew what I wanted it to do and had some vague ideas about which components would be most important to me, but I would never have been able to specify the precise components that eventually defined my machine without the assistance and insight of the Micro-Vision Sales Engineer who worked with me and answered my (often naive) questions.Throughout the process, the folks at Micro-Vision went far beyond the requirements of sales to ensure that I ended up with a machine that satisfied my requirements in every detail, many of which I had not thought of on my own.During my long career as an independent IT consultant I have worked with a number of people and companies who have built custom and purpose-built machines for me and my clients, but I have never felt more confident in recommending anyone more than I do now, as I recommend Micro-Vision to you.If they treat you half as well as they treated me--as I am sure they will--I have no doubt you will be as fully satisfied with them as I have been.The machine they built for me is great, but their consideration for me, and their obvious pride in their work makes them the best partner/supplier I have ever worked with. And that is beyond price.

Recently, my computer died and I was in the market for a custom PC. I had been told about Micro-Vision and decided to see what they had to offer.The options they had available for parts and cases was top notch and I was easily able to create a PC that met my needs. The staff was very helpful when I had inquires and the PC was ready by the date specified.This is the first time I went with a custom PC and the experience was great! I will definitely be going back to them for any future PC needs

i am so pleased with my microvision pc build!i work mainly on high performance computing (HPC) clusters, but wanted a local machine that could perform better, on fewer cores, and power through training large machine learning models. this machine more than delivers.... it's fast, quiet, cool and looks great.microvision has clearly taken the time to curate their build options because the only options they offer are those that review well on independent tech sites. that hugely simplified the build process for me and i couldn't be happier with each component, from the well ventilated case to the lightning fast GPU and SS drive.their customer service was also amazing. randy was really helpful and accommodating, and went out of his way to make a change to the order, spending extra time to make sure that the build was perfect.without a doubt, i will be using microvision to build my next machine!!thanks for the awesome machine!
