Omescape Markham

The entrance to this place is at the back of the plaza but don't worry there is a ton of parking here! Lots of drinks options but not many snack options in my opinion. They had a variety of board/card games and the staff were very helpful.

We have been to this location many times for their escape rooms and board games. For $13 +HST, you get a bubble tea and unlimited board game play. They have a lot of space and can accommodate larger groups. Our group of 9 fit easily around one tables. The staff there has always been friendly and helpful.

Really nice spot! They have a variety of board, video, and escape games. You also get a drink ticket with their reasonable ticket price for the board games.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Omniscape Markham and I must say, it was an incredible experience. One of the highlights was participating in their escape room called Motel Betty

We held my daughter's birthday party here - escape room + 2 hrs board games. Was great value if you have 8 kids (similar cost to just booking the escape room only) and loved that the package included pizza and soft drinks. Bubble tea at additional cost. Was able to bring in snacks/cake and kids enjoyed just hanging out for a bit after the escape room. Even though it's not a private room, they had us in an area off to the side of the games room that allowed some privacy. Hannah was great helping us online with the booking and planning. Overall great experience - would do it again!

One of our favourite places to go to. The rooms are interactive and innovative. You can tell the amount of detail and attention placed in each room. Definitely a must try if you're new to escape rooms!

Located in the back of the plaza, Omescape Markham has a good coverage of escape rooms which are have different difficulty ranges and multi-room puzzle concepts. You can also visit their Omescape Scarborough location as well for their other escape rooms.Our group had completed several missions like the Kingdom of Cats and Project Sphere here previously. We loved the multi-room games in the missions and love the puzzles. As per all missions, a walkie-talkie is provided for a hint but would affect your high score/leaderboard. In case the puzzle doesn't work, the walkie-talkie is there to help ask for puzzle support. We didn't use any help and had a fun time getting through the missions. Staff were quite friendly and informative. They have the standard starting video to ensure you know the rules to play their escape games. Some games do provide a player range and however we found it was optimal to have a certain number as more people may hinder the missions if based on lives/tries. Admission is based on their rate categories (60min, 75min, 90min) which can be found online. They provide some discounts based on all-in-one package, any social media check-in, and back-to-back discounts (same day play of 2 or more missions). Would come back again for their other missions!This location has Board Games Passes ($10.95 per person) to rent out their board games on site and classic video game sessions. The Board Game Passes allow for a free drink plus unlimited game time as well. They have quite a few tables scattered around and subject to first come first served basis. The Classic Video Game sessions are available with the board game passes as well with no additional charge. Some of their gaming stations available are the SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii and Nintendo Switch Games set up near the walls.You can also order their snacks as well from the bubble tea booth. Their menu covers some easy to make bubble tea drinks, but they also have some snacks in a corner as well. Their fries took quite a bit to come out and does have a large quantity (might have been slightly heavy on salt). Otherwise, a good spot to hang with friends!

Here for the Escape Room Experience! First timer in this place. The staff are very attentive and friendly. I also really like the concession area. They serve Bubble tea! I would like to come back here with a group for the board games section next time!

My family including kids tried the Once Upon a Time escape room. We had a great experience. Though it is pricey. The upside is 6yo and under are free. It was great to see the kids be able to help with clues as it is based on fairytales they are familiar with. We were able to finish within 1hr plus one hint.
