Amica The Glebe

Disappointed in Amica the Glebe for faking five-star reviews, this just looks desperate. Conditions to be expected from a nursing home. Staff do their best but work under difficult conditions, they seem to be spread pretty thin, so don't expect a lot of individual care for your family member. The building is clean and well-designed, it doesn't have a hospital feel. if they can get out on their own, residents can enjoy the beautiful neighbourhood. however, if I were a senior I would not want to live there.

The staff at Amica The Glebe are kind and responsive, the brand-new facility is well appointed, and the programming nicely varied. My mother also appreciates the support amongst the residents. Amica has done a great job at creating a new home and community for my mother.Lily C

I have been a resident in Amica The Glebe almost since the beginning a year ago.As in any new residence, there have been challenges, but the staff has met and dealt with any problem in a most professional manner. I feel very privileged to be able to live here, in a senior’s residence which I can call my home and my family.

Have worked for Amica about 1.5 years now and can truly Say the support for team members is there. You’re more than just a number. LotsOf growth opportunities in all departments.

I been with this company for over 4 years now and it’s the best company to work for they put show us how much they appreciate us. I am very bless to have a such an amazing GM, RCC and DOW. They hold such a high care standard. Love working and caring our residents. Amica the Glebe is the best one out there !!!!

As a charity and neighbour of Amica the Glebe we are most impressed with the partnerships we have developed with this residence. They welcome joint events like art shows and are very supportive of the seniors we support at our charity.

Absolutely gorgeous building. On site concierge, nurses 24/7, workout classes, pub, billiard room, salon, art room, theatre, tuck shop, beautiful terraces, resident groups like knitting, walking groups and I could go on. Friendly hardworking dedicated staff that makes it easy to work as a team. Delicious meals with A La cart options. Amica at the Glebe accommodates individuals needing respite, Independent living, assisted living, memory care and end of life. Free underground parking for residents, family and staff. I’ve worked here since March 2023 and love it! Management is easy to talk with and very approachable.

Elder care facilities are notorious for faking reviews and cutting corners, always at the expense of families and residents. Hopefully this isn’t happening at Amica.Hopefully more reviewers with a review history will comment as well. More firsthand experiences and legit reviews assist others in their difficult search for care._________This is not a review of Amica. Just a comment from a neighbor that something fishy is happening with Amica’s reviews.Eleven separate 5-star reviews have been posted here in the past five days, many by someone who has never reviewed anything else…… versus just five total reviews in the prior year plus that Amica Glebe has been open.Would love to know what Amica is doing here.Paying for reviews from bots? Staff member creating fake accounts and typing up phony reviews?

My mother has been enjoying life here since December 2022. This almost new home opened in July 2022 and we were so pleased there was availability for residents with memory issues. Still room there as at the date of this post! Meals are very good. Care is wonderful. The staff always are smiling and they are amazingly cheerful with both residents and their families/guests. Well laid out apartments, spotlessly clean and so many wonderful people! So glad we chose Amica the Glebe after viewing about 15 other care homes. I heartily recommend this home for yourself or your loved ones. 5 stars for sure but they deserve more!

I am blessed to be employed at Amica the Glebe! Truly an amazing, supportive, and understanding management team. As a single mother I needed a place that would work within my schedule, not only did I get a great work & home life balance, I am recognized for my work ethic and have amazing opportunities with this company.
