Legault-Dubois Inspection et Expertise de Bâtiment | La Prairie

I paid the Legault-Dubois team to do the inspection for the Renoclimat credit. This consists of 2 inspections, one before and one after the renovations. They came in April of 2018 for the first. They inspected my place, and advised me to call back when it was time for the second (post renovation) inspection. The renovation work was done by June, I had contacted them several times for the second inspection. After several failed attempts to book the 2nd appointment via email and phone, they finally called me back and advised that they were super busy with the 1st appointments, that the 2nd appointment would only happen in the new year, and that they would call me back in January. At this point it was 5 months after I first started trying to book the 2nd inspection. I take it upon myself to call them back. They now advised me that they no longer hold the Renoclimat contract and that I should go back to the Renoclimat site to deal with the new vendor. I chased them for months with little to no response until it was too late, I am not surprised they lost the contract.

Unprofessional, terrible communication.Company and Inspector confirmed appointment the day before for the final evaluation, cancelled 2 hours before stating he was sick, Company did not send another person in his place, insitedme the next day and nothing else. Cancelled my initial appointment request. They charge 45$ for a missed or cancelled appointment less than 24hrs, but if they cancel, it's too bad for you.Took a day off of work for nothing, not exactly able to take days off of work to accommodate them when they can't guarantee the appointment time they determine for you.I feel sick dealing with this company. Bad experience is not yet resolved.Booking the first appointment took 4 months, 5 calls, 4 hours waiting on hold on their phones, one time after waiting for 2 hours, they just hung up the phone, and two last minute cancelations.After reading a few other reviews, it seems like thus is the type of BS service they provide.What a joke and an embarrassment.

Toutes les personnes ont toutes ete super sympathiques et répondent tres bien aux questions. Ils donnent pleins de petits conseils abordable pour améliorer l'étanchéité de notre maison.

I was recommended their service by CAA, and I'm very pleased with the results. I had a moisture inspection that involved investigating my home's attic. The inspector was thorough, very courteous and considerate.The report provided is also really detailed and gives me an excellent idea of what my next steps should be to resolve my issues. Their service was more expensive than home inspections I have had in the past- however they were by far the most detailed and thorough I have experienced.

II was very pleased with Legault's service. They arrived promptly, on time,and carried out their work efficiently and knowledgably. Any questions were answered with pleasure, any explanation was clear, and the reports were received promptly.. I highly recommend Legault-Dubois.

We had someone come to do a post work evaluation for Reno-climat, since we had insolation done on the atticThis employee brought his own ladder, however he did not want to fully extend his ladder instead he stepped on our shelves in the closet tried to get in to the attic, shelves was broken.He acted surprised/pretended he didn't know when we asked him how to file a claim if employee breaks stuff, then he did not apologies when we showed him the damage he made instead he told us it was just a screw (not to mention he made a mess in our son's room)Very unprofessional as he only wore socks while he was on the ladder and doing the inspection when you supposed to wear non-silp/enclosed footwear for safety reason.We contacted the company inquired on how to make a claim and was advised the supervisor will contact us as soon as possible to let us know how to make a claim, but we have not yet received the call/email

Had a very professional service in Hemmingford QC. They tested the houses heating capacity and air tightness. The report they provided was excellent.
