The only reason why I’m giving this company a 5 star is because of an employee named Jessica. Other than that I’d give it a 0 stars. She’s been a godsend to this company, I’ve been waiting for months and months before receiving my license but until Jessica took it over it got done within a week. She’s been awesome and no words can describe my appreciation for Jessica. My advice to anyone waiting to get licensed is to just be patient and if you get Jessica you’re in good hands.

Forgive my Name, I made this account a long time ago. While I personally haven't had too much trouble with the people at RIBO I do find the fact that they seem more interested in hiding their tests and charging fees, and rather poor recommended Prep Courses quite annoying. A good quality course that has a high pass rate or letting you actually examine their test for where their knowledge was lacking would be better. As an example when doing my testing I managed to do the Travel Insurance section perfect 5/5 questions, but I just guessed, as that isn't what I studied in their ILScorp Studyguide, which makes it rather odd to say that I would've been qualified to Broker Travel Insurance if I passed their testing. Just some small things I think would help, but if they have found this is the best way then so be it.

Seriously do not enjoy working with them. Every time you need to get in touch, you get a voicemail. No call backs. Email response time is slow. They put these rules in place for brokers to follow, and when the brokers comply, they still take for ever to process things and it's a huge inconvenience. It's really too bad that as licensed brokers, we HAVE to talk to them for what we need.

The RIBO site is very difficult to navigate. The Chat assistant does not answer direct questions, it offers information based on key words in your query. This information may not be what you're requesting at all. I applied for my licence and selected the have my agency pay later" option

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced anywhere. They do not answer your calls and do not answer your email. They take weeks and weeks just to get back to you on an application status. After weeks go by, they tell you we’re missing something and you gotta wait all over again. Another issue is that when you try to leave a message, their mailbox is full and can’t leave messages!?!? WHAT IS THIS? They don’t even bother clearing their mailbox... An absolute disgusting organization. I could give RIBO a 0/5 stars if I could.

Teacher Dionne Bowers doesn't understand the content herself. Why have someone who isn't licensed to teach the course. Also, with so many spelling and grammar mistakes and discrepencies in the material and texts, it makes it hard to decipher what is right with the trick questions in the exam. Also found spelling mistakes in exam questions.

4 emails sent out to book my exam, only one reply to instruct me on how to pay the exam fee. Before March, there's not even a online visa payment option. I have sent everything they need by mail in early march, no confirmation, no reply, nothing. Start to wonder, if they already lost my mail (including the original form of policy record check/photos/cheque) RIBO is the only place that you can register your broker exam, maybe that's why they are being so irresponsible?

Not an advocate for the policyholder. Broker unilaterally changed our policy. Never agreed to changes. Switched providers and am on hook for cancellation fees. No legal precedent EVER allows a party to change a contract and bind other party. Not worth the fight. RIBO not effective. Happy online customer now with no broker. Why even have RIBO?
