Kind of a dump right now, under gutting and renovation. Must be owned by the city or government of some level as its been I think over 2 years renovation and nothing seems done - good place for a dollar store which looks tired" too."

Ok so I often get a little lost on the PATH but with construction in the food court area and a confusing layout to start with I got really turned around and passed the same security guard 3 times before giving up and heading to street level.

Place is a dump and it seems like it always has been. Renovations seem to go on forever and nothing changes.

Great for Dollaramma & T.D. ATM's inside. I suppose entrance to the school upstairs. I gave 5 stars for those 2 reasons!

Not much happening here except for the Dollarama. Everything else has been abandoned with little evidence of progress on what must be planned refurbishment and redevelopment. Hopefully sooner than later.

Unfortunately, whatever life was left in this little strip mall was devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Pretty much every business has closed up shop, including a decent camera store and a great used video-game outlet. A grungy Dollarama is pretty much the flagship business here by virtue of being the only thing that's still open; and that is a tighly packed, claustrophobic space even by Dollarama standards. I don't know what else to say about this place. Everything else is gone for now. Three or four new businesses after the pandemic's over could change the character of the place radically, but it's unclear if & when that could happen.

It's a dump now...even a number of years before the construction which you see happening when this review was posted. In 1996 to 1999 it was a lovely little mall as we had the popular Charles Cafe where I worked part time before Dollarama took over the space. We also had 2 hair salons and a Bridal Store along with Second Cup....sadly...they are all gone except for the Dollarama and the nice people running the Dry Cleaning Store.I heard it's now going to be a Student Residence which explains the overdue construction and renovations but I know it will never be the same Charles Promenade I once knew from the 90's...but change is inevitable.
