Artisan Suites on Bowen

We had a fantastic experience at Artisan Suites! The room was very spacious, extremely clean, comfortable, quiet, and on top of that, had an amazing view of the water and mountains. There was also tons of parking and the suites were only a few minutes drive from snug cove. The cafe is on the first floor, which served delicious pastries, sandwiches, drinks, etc. I would highly recommend staying here!

I have stayed a few times at Artisan Suites for work trips and always have a great time. The suite and the Artisan Lane area we really sweet, safe and quaint. The Artisan Cafe downstairs is out of this world good. 10/10 would stay there again for work or for pleasure. Always look forward to it :)

The room was nice but was quite pricey considering the view was the parking lot.When I politely enquired about an unexpected increase to the price, I received a passive aggressive email in return. The extra fee was for “cleaning” of coffee stains. Understandable, I guess, but shouldn’t the sheets be washed regardless? They even threatened to charge hundreds of dollars for said stains. After seeing a few other reviews with similar “extra charges”, I would not recommend staying here..In reviewing other 1-2 star reviews, the passive aggressive responses from owners are unhelpful and distasteful

My son and I had the cypress room this year and loved it! Last year we had parkview and thought that was really great. We are trying to make it annual trip. I really like the view from the cypress room ..you can see the ferry, the mountains, water, and I like how it's such a short walk from snug cove terminal, and they thoughtfully give you osmosis water, really nice dishware to use and a nice oatmeal for breakfeast ..its very clean, the bed s soft and next time we want to try out the other suite.. on a day that more things in the square open, which is more weekend related ..thanks for the experience artisan suites

Does word AMAZING can describe how satisfied I was? I can say even saying amazing it’s not good enough!!!!! They were over and beyond for me! It was my birthday and my husband wanted to surprise me, Julie and Christophe, the owner of the hotel, bought me an amazing cake and left it in our our room so when I entered I was so surprised!!! Thanks very much Julie and Christophe! You guys made my birthday a very memorable one!!As a side note, I wanted to do exactly the same thing for my husband, I booked a hotel and asked them to do so for him and I pay extra for the cake they said Ok but they didn’t do so!!About the hotel and where it’s located, I can say our room had ocean view and it was super clean , a very good Gym is just nearby the hotel and you can enjoy shopping from local shops.

Our room had a view of the cruise ships passing by, the bed is super comfy, and it's very quiet, is well maintained and spotless clean. Its a short walk to snug cove, tho abit of an uphill hike at some points. Bon vacance!

Great stay here! Clean room, appreciated the coffee machine and biscuit on arrival! Great bathroom and loved the mini motion sensors at foot level in the bathroom! Nice touch :) Easy check-in and check out with digital keypad. Would recommend, really enjoyed staying here. Thank you!

I thought Artisan suites was great and quaint! The owner was very accommodating to our requests and the local chocolate on the bed was a sweet touch! I would recommend this place to anyone. I especially liked the café under the suites which was a great place for breakfast with great vegan options too! Very cute island with nearby amenities. We came without a car and used the bus for transportation or just walked to nearby restaurants/bars. The place is near a lot of cute shops, as well as a lake (40 min walk). Would stay here again!

Room was nice and clean and cozy we stayed in the mt. Something room. Clean pewter full bathrooms lots of friendly email reminders doors are very simple to open. Nice coffee and tea station. But for one night, we paid almost $300. 270 in total. Leah she was really the price. We would be back more often if it was cheaper
