Great School and staffs but if your planning on taking the child care assistance program be aware that the teacher is a complete joke.Don't be decieved she will have favoritisums in the class when you ask a question she acts as if you are a bother to her you will also notice how munipulating she can be she expect you to her kiss her ass just for a grade if you choose this program shine your eye observe very well she get a kick outta students who have to beg and fight just for a certificate when there's better programs out there where you can recieve a diploma. It is a great program but just be MINEFUL of that teacher her attitude and personality stinks. The fight is real in School and in placements.Don't allow her walk all over your pride , dignity and intelligence she feeds that.GOOD LUCK !

Horrible communication, and not reliable. Cancels your courses unexpectedly. If you need courses to get into university, DO NOT take classes here. They are not dependable and will make your university application process much harder.I signed up for a high school course that I need to get into university. They sent me 2 confirmations that I was registered for the course. The day before my classes start, they sent me my schedule. I noticed that the course I chose was not on my timetable. I contacted them and they told me the class had been cancelled the week before and no one had notified me of these changes. I already disclosed to universities that I was enrolled in this course and now I have to try to change my university applications. Its very difficult and takes months to get into these adult high school courses (took me 3 months for this school), so this was a huge waste of time and the receptionists here are really lacking any sort of professionalism. If you need courses to get into University, DO NOT take classes here. They are not dependable and will make your university application process much harder.

Hello everyone.I joined the school in 2022 but was the best experience ever. The student service is always in a position to help students with there needs. They respond o all emails on time , staffs as well are hardworking and ready to help. I never regret choosing this school as a new comer. tanks to all the friends and staffs i the school for the excellent humanity.

I just called them today to ask questions about their co-op program. The staff at the phone was not professional, I had the feeling that she is trying to scold me for no reason. Instead of explaining about the program, she kept insisting that I should come for the English and Math exam and pass them first, and her tone was not polite. While I have no issue with passing English and Math tests, I encourage the centre to educate their staff on how to answer to customers. I definitely will not approach them any more.

I did the PSW course. The teachers, Jane & Doreen were AMAZING! It was a lot of work both in and outside of class and definitely requires a commitment. I was hired within two months of completing the program. Thanks YALC! I will always send potential students to you.

I called this morning from a non-profit organization on behalf of my client to seek some clarifications. The gentleman who answered the phone was extremely rude and impatient with me. If I was his manager, I would send him to a customer service training to learn how to speak with public. I understand that It's a busy time of the year for schools, but he's getting paid to do his job and do it well. If he this is the way he handles calls from community partners,specially with this attitude, I feel bad for newcomer youth who face language barrier..

This school is amazing for newcomers. The ESL courses are really good plus they give you credit for completing them. The PLAR application is a gift from god, this school is from heaven.. Thank Yorkdale

Very helpful teachers. I've been in a few different classes, English and Business for example. The teachers responded and continuously guided students towards their goals, I've seen two grandstanding actions from the staff. The business teacher clarified and basically pushed another man's potential beyond it's ceiling, and the other gesture being from the librarian who helps others grow. :)Give this place a shot for a semester. It's only a few weeks to learn :) Leave anytime ya want dudes. Just remember it's like 30 bucks lol.

Professor David deserves a million dollars because he is a good person who loves his work. Please give him a million every month

As a new comer, I had the best experience there.In a very kindly environment, I learned so many things, made friends.Best teachers, helped me to find my way. Now I am going to college and so happy to start with this high school.
