Overall pretty good experience. The servers are very kind and the restaurant is quite nice.Some options on the menu are fantastic and some not so much. The HQ Burger is amazing and is highly recommended as is the steak. The crispy chicken blt was nice however the chicken was burnt. Meatball sandwich was alright however quite dry with the choice of bread. Items that are not included in the photo: Mediterranean wrap and chicken parm which were not good.Overall a really solid pick if you are in the area. Second time visiting and definitely will give it another go.

Sam, Emily and Brooklyn were fabulous in helping to find us a seat tonight. We didn't have a reservation but they were most accommodating and pleasant in helping us get a table. Based on our experience, we will return!!

HQ Restaurant and Tap House
This was our first time here. We went to order mussels and they didn’t have any then tried to order wings and they didn’t have any. We went with a chicken and fish dish instead and waited 45 minutes. There was only one other table of 2 there and the food was a bit dry, not what we were expecting. It was also strange and random while we were there they shut down around 5:00 as people were trying to come in and eat. Not sure what was going on there or if we will be back… our server however was friendly and attentive, washrooms were clean and the environment was nice.

Service is good: friendly and prompt. However, for a 'Tap House' there is no menu for beer selections are very few. So, do not expect to come here and be blown away by the beer/tap!! Food prices are good - quality is just OK. Frozen chicken strips, fries and most food comes from a food supplier so doubtful that anything besides lettuce or burger toppings are fresh. The building has character but smells very old and musty so if you are allergic to moulds, etc. you may want to avoid coming here. It's really unfortunate since it's in the heart of tourist country and at an excellent crossroad of the 400 Hwy and Horseshoe.

Service is quick and food was yummy. Docked one star because we were brought the bill before being asked if we want dessert or coffee… which we did want… but skipped as a result of feeling rushed out the door.

Located in Craighurst. It's minutes away from the 400 and horseshoe valley resort. Tons of parking. I was looking for a restaurant with my friends and stumbled across HQ. I had such an amazing experience, I went back again with my family. The restaurant is pub like. I was served by Hannah both times and she is lovely and pleasant. The food is absolutely delicious. I ordered different things to test out the menu and everything tasted great!HQ will definitely be my go to restaurant when I am in the area!

Were told they couldn't seat us without a reservation for over an hour. Looked like a small place. So ended up getting takeout. Looked like the only restaurant in the area.Food was ok. I wasn't expecting anything special when I saw how it looked. The chicken piece was paper thin. Didn't even have any cutlery to give us.

Just been here for a change from the city by surpriseBut but but its an awesome place the food is super delicious so pleasant and the staff is super nice ..5 tar rating will come again for sure

HQ Restaurant and Tap House
Crispy chicken blt was burnt. Fries were undercooked and soup not very good. It might just be a new cook as we have never experienced this before
